Scouts are the backbone of the Pack, acting as navigators during moves as well as being knowledgeable enough to predict how long an area will sustain the Pack and when to start moving again because of that.
Scouts are often sent out into the territory to make notes on landmarks and any changes within the territory, but some Scouts are sent out into the Great Unknown to gather knowledge and materials they are unable to access within the Arctic. Because of Scouts, the Pack has access to a number of crafting materials, Herbal remedies and plants, and the most important of all; Fiber
Since its such a rare material to acquire, it is often only used in crafts that are important for survival, like baskets and rope, but sometimes are used in jewelry and Pup toys.
