Sun Hollow
At the highest point of the camp is a bush-covered pathway into a wall of weathered rock. The gap between the cliffsides is widest at the entrance thanks to some digging the scouts did and narrows down the length of the path until it gives way to the wide, round ground of a hollow that extends to the top of the plateau. The walls of the hollow are slanted away from the entrance, and with a little more excavation the scouts had done, there is a winding path up the steep slope to the rugged top of the plateau, where the reigning pack leader lives and oversees the daily pack activity. The hunters and their trainees live here. The sun is said to be the brightest eye of the sky and the creator of life, so hunters pray to the sun for protection and plentiful hunting. Sometimes they bring pups and adolescents to learn to fight and hunt.
