Nursery
As you approach the nursery, your nose immediately detects the familiar, yet welcoming odor of warm milk and young puppies. It's almost entirely welcoming to you, and its current guests often greet you with a glint in their eye. The nursery would typically be a secluded den within the clan's camp, designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for a female wolf and her newborn pups.. The den would have a low entrance to allow easy access for wolves and pups. The interior would be lined with soft moss, feathers, and other materials for bedding. Pupsitters also stay in here to keep a keen eye on mothers, and aid their newborn puppies in case they have left to go hunting, collect herbs, or scout the territory. The nursery is situated in a quiet corner of the territory to minimize disturbances, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for any mothers and their young. The den may have a few small openings or gaps to allow fresh air and some natural light while maintaining a sense of security. Packmates would be expected to show respect and refrain from any unnecessary noise near the nursery.
The entrance of the nursery is marked with protective brambles or ferns, acting as a barrier against potential threats. Packmates should be cautious not to disturb any mothers and pups, recognizing the importance of providing a serene space for the growth and development of the next generation of wolves.
