The Reincarnated
While the Dreamland beings are immortal, they are not invincible. When a celestial being dies in the Dreamlands, or on Living Earth, they will be reincarnated as a mortal wolf on Earth. Reincarnated wolves tend to be brightly colored, explaining the phenomenon of extremely colorful wolves on Living Earth. Eons of this cycle has created lineages of mortal wolves sporting colors originally only known to the Reincarnated. At this point in time, it's quite hard to tell the difference between a Reincarnated wolf, or one that's just colorful. Reincarnated wolves do not remember anything about their lives in the Dreamlands and as far as they know, are just colorful mortal wolves. Most wolves on Living Earth believe this to be a fairytale and not true but some, especially those able to visit the Dreamlands, know better.
