Echoing Rest

Every pack leaves behind their dead, but not every pack remembers them. Haru refuses to let his fallen wolves be forgotten. The Echoing Rest is a sacred place, where the bones of the pack's ancestors lie undisturbed, where their spirits are honored.

The cavern is vast and lined with naturally occurring stone formations that resemble towering pillars, giving the space an almost cathedral-like feeling. Small, glowing fungi cling to the walls, casting an eerie but beautiful blue light.

When a wolf dies, their body is carried here, laid upon the soft earth beneath the pillars, and left to rest. Their name is spoken one final time, their deeds remembered by those who remain.

Some say that if you stand in the Echoing Rest in complete silence, you can still hear the whispers of those who came before—not as words, but as a presence, a weight in the air, a feeling of being watched over.

It is a place of mourning, but also of legacy. Here, no wolf is truly gone.
