Shatter and Rip, as immortal Spiritborn, remember the time before Flick took over. The others were either very young when he rose to power or not born yet, but grew up on stories passed down from their parents about the time before the change. They long for a return to normalcy, but are hesitant to join the New Dawn's intense resistance, as Shatter has warned of its similarities to the early days of Flick's cult.
