Wolves that are suited for scouting are given the title Farstep. Wolves with the title Farstep have a broad set of skills that they rely on to scout various territories, keeping the leader informed of the goings on.
Those granted the title may not take a mate without the same title, inbreeding is avoided through taking in outside blood from different titled densand adoptions.
