. { | The Fern | } .
The heart of the pack: The Fern. A huge cave that resiges beside the Nursery. A huge room, branching off to a few smaller rooms that had been been visibly dug by wolves. The main room of the Fern was wide enough for the whole pack to comfortably fit in. It was the home of the prey pile placed in the centre of the room, as well as amusement items, trinkets, animal hydes, basically anything that wolves might bring back from their adventures. It was where most of the pack would hang out when they werent busy.
To the right inside the cave was a wide tunnel with leaves and sticks barely covering the entrence. This was the Herbalist's Den. Inside, a bunch of large rocks that had been pushed into the den and were used to hold the fragile herbs. A small curve in the wall was marked with a comfy bed, clearly the herbalist's nest. There were also some nests at the other side of the herbalist's den, clearly for injured wolves or nesting mothers. An unorganized mess of bags resided in a pile beside the herb rocks, illuminated by a beam of light that shone from a wold-made hole in top left of the den, working as a window.
The Leader's den was beside the herbalist's cave, a small room made just for the leader. it coupe probrobly fit three wolves in at most. One huge leaf covered the leaders den, but was clearly visible from the outside.
Three more tunnels were present inside the cave, One for the adolescent wolves, one for elders and mentors and a final spare tunnel used for wolves that were new or didnt quite belong anywhere else.
The training tunnel was an open tunnel leading to a dark, cold room. It was designed this way so adolescents could get a taste of the cold, hard reality of becoming an adult, compared to the cozy pup den.
The elder's area was a very peaceful, spaceous and luxurious room. They even had their own water bowl and prey pile. It was to give wolves something to look forward to after working hard their whole lives.
The spare den was used for new wolves who didnt feel comfortable with the rest of the pack yet... or occasionally for hunters when they had fallen out with other packs. There was a huge rock beside the entrence that could be pushed infront of the den if they were housing an enemy wolf.
