Guild of Ancients

Wolves older than 6 years are celebrated by their pack as they join the Guild of Ancients, a roaming fleet of senior wolves who aid in mentoring wolves of all ages and settling disputes between the pack's members. Some wolves retire to the Guild of Ancients as young as 5 years old depending on their health and reputation within the pack. Hunters and scouts are more likely to retire earlier due to their roles being hard on the body, whereas herbalists and pup sitters tend to resume their positions until required by the lead wolf to join the Guild of Ancients.
