Wolves of traveling size reside within this den, scouts are picked by the alpha and healers and once they turn 1 year, they are taken throughout the territory so they can learn how to get home before they are released to travel around on their own. most scouts often travel by themselves but can travel with each other if they do not have apprentices.
A den between Shifting waters and the Fledglings, the den is very sparse in scent and small enough for just 4 wolves; scouts and their apprentices. The den has a map carved into a rock in the center of the den with various feathers and items found over the years by scouts and others who served the same role. 4 nest are lined along the walls and though the scent of other wolves may be stale, it is because they are always out and about, this den is often cleaned and cared for by the newer warriors since some fledglings may try to swipe a few trinkets.
