The Bright Realms, the other world accessed through a little gateway on Court lands, calls for them. It beckons, pulling at their very souls. Within it is danger, challenge-- the entire place alive and seeking to know the names and souls of the cats who dare to step foot within it. The spoils are rich, but they come at a high cost. The Court prepares to seek out a fated library within its depths, filled to the brim with knowledge of gods old and vanished. At home, they bear witness to a new and horrible magic that corrupts a cat-- completely unmaking them and reshaping them into something new... if they survive the process. The ancient big cat that lives beneath the Green Cave is the only source of this magic and he himself is a strange and unknowable beast. Spades, the sponsor of the Court, begs her friends to not talk to him, not to seek him out, and never, ever let him touch you. The road ahead poses many questions, some of which you may not want the answer to. We are a liquid time Discord roleplay that explores a variety of themes such as found family, horror (cosmic especially), fantasy, exploring past mistakes, seeking forgiveness, and dealing with the damage others have done to you. The Court cats live in modern day Texas, dealing with a unique blend of issues from the horrors and preternatural events that occur in the very land they live on. The Court is a group of (mostly) normal, mortal cats who have been put in a situation they couldn't have guessed would be so...odd. Players learn about the world and find answers at the same time their characters do—we expect no prior knowledge of you! Though we are Warrior Cats inspired, we are heavily divorced from the books, with the only real connection being that some cats have come from clans.
