how many hunting parties?

just wondering, how many hunting parties do other players have?

why did you choose that amount?

does it work well for your pack or do you find yourself struggling?

just wanna discuss

i only have one, but they're pretty close to 100% synergy. they bring in enough food that i can feed all of my pack + sell the excess, so i'd say they work pretty well.

i don't think i could handle more than one hunting party, as my hunters constantly come back with open wounds that are quite tedious to heal. though i suppose if you had a ton of wolves, you'd need more than one hunting party as you'd have more wolves to feed.

I’ve got one party with only 4 wolves, but between them and the food I get in explore I’ve always got plenty of stuff to feed the pack and plenty leftover.

I trained 3 of the wolves up from level 1, although for the finisher I bought a trained scout with high strength and no hunting experience - it seems to be working out pretty well. I get them to hunt as many times as I can daily, and they’re getting close to 100% synergy and proficiency after just over a week. 

I have 1 but am planning on making a second one when I am able

I currently am planning to get a second party. I usually manage to exhaust all 10 hunts before the next RO. 

Having a 2nd party would help me train new recruits to replace my more basic wolves I befriended when I started.

hm i may need to make another hunting party or two just for training new wolves! i didn’t think of that

That's why I'm making a second. Eventually, My Alpha Party will retire and the Beta party will take over and I can train a new Beta party to replace them and so on and so forth. Plus once the pack gets so big, I may need more opportunities to bring in food so having an extra team with 10 hunts would save me from starving wolves (theoretically)

I have only one and it wasn't so much a choice as "I bred two of my hunters and need three pupsitters soon, and don't have enough SC to get enough slots for more hunters for a second one"

I currently have one, however, I'm currently in the process of making another hunting party! I organize my hunting wolves based on personality, so stoic and aggressive are grouped together whilst friendly and romantic are also grouped together.

I have 2. One trained to 100% made from NBWs that I got at the start and a second new one made from the first pups I bred and kept. Think I'll try and stick with 2 and always have one fully trained party and a new in training party.
