Hello!
So I am looking for a custom character to be made for me. I want this to be a comfort character so they will hold a lot of meaning to me. This means I may be a bit picky when it comes to the art style as well as the details.
This baby will be very important to me so I would love progress shots and to be able to talk with you through messages on everything. I am hoping to get to work on this asap but I don't mind being on a waitlist and I do understand that art takes time and will not rush you in any way to get this completed.
Creative freedom will be allowed outside of the specific details I give you. I have a decent budget so please list your normal values and once I give you the exact details I am looking for you can give me a exact final cost.
I will only select 1 artist to create this baby but I may note you as a artist if I enjoy you work and may ask when he is finished if you could possibly draw them.
If you are willing and not selected for this project but are open to similar customs I would definitely want more characters such as this but different. Feel free to Note this.
If you take on this request and are willing to do more than just a simple ref sheet please inform me I would gladly love more art of this baby.
General Idea of what I am looking for:
°Someone who is willing to take on at least a simple front back ref sheet(Bigger the better).
°Flat Color Ref Sheet - Possible other artworks included.
°Someone who can draw male(possibly trans)humans/humanoids.
°Someone ok with drawing old scars(of varying degree, depth, and severity).
°Someone who is ok with drawing tactical gear.
What will help:
°A Toyhou.se or Other Social media I can credit for the design
°Good anatomy skills (Mid to High quality)
°Able to draw skulls/masks
°Willing to do hue changes/tests with color pallettes.
°Knowledge of MW2(Game) - Basic character knowledge/images(not needed)
°Willingness to sketch out multiple ideas (I will pay for your time)°Willingness to change certin details (I will do my best to be specific and provide you what you need as well as draw out possible examples if needed)
°I can do all details on site regarding to the commission if prefered but if easier progress shots can be sent on discord up to you.
°Bonus if you can draw monster/creatures too(horror based)
Payment:
°I will pay in pure GC
°Payment plan of half before and half after would be best(I can provide proof of payment if needed in a trade)
°If you sketch anything and I don't approve it as the final I will pay you for your time, if it is not included in your tos the cost it will be discussed(Can be discussed further as I would like to pay you for possible ownership(able to credit you as the creator but me as the owner) of the sketched design possibly).
°If you would rather use your sketch as a adopt/YCH etc. if I did not approve it, if it is not close to my final character you may as it is your art to do with, but that would not be included in payment(as I am not owner of said art at that point despite commission).
Please Include in your Post the Following:
°Art Shop/Prices.
°At least 1-2 examples of your humans/humanoids(At least 1 full body prefered).
°*Not Needed* but any customs/adopys you have done in the past(you think are relevant).
°If you have any exact questions on this commission(If you need more exact details etc.)
°If you have any concerns on what you may not be able to draw(for example if you have issues drawing the gear etc.)
