I'm trying to find someone who can help give me some pointers on what's profitable in Wolvden - like, selling items, how studding works here, etc - and how wolves work. Are we able to transfer wolf looks to the wolf that replaces them? I was considering saving up for Airglow, but im not sure what pass rates look like here. Is it worth buying an app, or should I just buy a wolf to customize? It feels like looking for reps could be expensive and I'm a little bit daunted in that regard. |

The appearance of a lead wolf (or any other wolf) does not transfer to its replacement like it does in Lioden. When you replace a lead wolf, you can choose one of any age that is in your pack - or reroll which would give you the option to design a low stat, commonly marked NBW (like how your first lead would have started out). Consider breeding if you want a specific look to pass on - although its not 100% guaranteed, you'll probably get a somewhat similar pup at some point. Buying an app is worth it imo, but I find that T3 bases pass onto pups a lot easier and morre frequently than T* bases. Also, unlike Lioden you cannot "stud race". You can only submit one request for a female at a time, and if you change your mind and want to switch to another stud you have to cancel and submit a new request. Feel free to reply or pm me if you have any other questions! |

As a new player just getting my feet under me, I'm trying to weigh the risks vs reward of breeding, since it might not be financially feasible for me, for a long while, especially given mass breeding is one of the few ways we can ensure app bases pass on LD. Do we have any info on WD about what pass rates are like? Also, what is a T3 and T*? I suppose asking if we have a wiki so that I can do research is also a thing I would like to know. |

You can check this post [GH] Base Genetics that will explain base pass rates and combinations better than I can! There are 4 different base tiers, all represented in short form as T3 or TIII, for example. T1 - the most common tier, little value on its own T2 - common tier, more neutral T3 - some of these bases can be crafted. This is valuable base tier T* - this refers to "special" bases, like those you can buy or earn during events (ex. Airglow) The Wolvden Wiki is up and running, but information is often outdated or inacurrate.A better source to reference is this Grouse House Guide Directory, filled with information on practically everything regarding Wolvden. |

Is the clean vs dirty market here more healthy? Do people care about dirty as much? |

What matters more is generation, or G. Anything over G5 is not very valuable, unless it happens to be a lethal or random mutation. The lower, the better! The most successful studs are G1-G3. edit: If you want to stud but don't want to spend the money, I'd be happy to give you some refunded studdings to mine until you get everything sorted out. I'll keep that in mind, thank you. All my wolves are kinda garbo at the moment since I was looking for stats and proficiencies first. Maybe one of them will come into heat. |

It's also more acceptable on the stud market for NBW Studs to have lower stats than a G2 or G3, because their stats are generated to be in the 200s - but it will only be successful if it has good markings (10) and a desirable base. Just something to keep in mind! |

Thank you for the head's up. That'll save me a lot of heartache. I can care about not getting studs once I have a cushion. |
