Future Breeding Desirability: Hunter Roles & Stats

my lead is my breeding male and im only breeding him with my herbalist, and im already noticing a major difference in stats between the two

every time i breed them together i log their stats as well as the stats of their pups when theyre born, and yeah its looking like if you want to specifically breed for better stats, maybe dont use your herbalist lol

for my next lead, i might have whatever wolf that is spend the first adult year of its life scouting, just to get a boost to make up for the next herbalist not being very good w stats

I’ve been working on a targeted strength line, and a wisdom line. I have a spare 2nd gen strength pup, he was born with 94 strength!

Something I’ve noticed though is that wolves seem to have an inbuilt direction they want to train in. I’ve been training two scouts, trying to grind extra points in wisdom and strength respectively, and while they get the occasional bonus point whenever they level they seem to have the most gains in whatever their strongest stat was originally.

i’ve also kept a girl who was a cross between a high strength&speed sire and high agility&wis&smarts dam. She has a pretty even spread but curious to see how she levels.
