#5 Polo - The One who Finds - retired

Started journey: 6 months

Bio (last updated 01.09.2024):

Polo was a fast pup. He did not really have any manners when eating, but was still a very skilled young wolf. One day, he wanted to become a hunter. The problem was, his twin brother Marco had the same plans. And they didn't like each other. They were very similar, but Polo was the one who turned out well and Marco was the one that's just boring - Marco's opinion.
So their whole childhood was basically competing against each other and not liking each other.

Until one day near growing into adolescence, they had a fight. After giving each other a few wounds they "talked" - or rather snarled:
M: "I really don't want to be in the same hunting group as you when we grow adults!"
P: "Absolutely! I want to stay away from you as far as possible."
M: "Same with me! I'd rather go to another pack than have to be with you!"
P: "Hah! Why not? Just become a traveller and leave me alone!"
M: "Yeah, why not? And then I can do cool stuff all day and don't have to talk to you anymore!"
P: "I bet, I'd be a better traveller than you!"
M: "Bet?"
P: "Bet."

So it was decided. They wanted to leave the pack when they were adolescents and find out, who was better at being a traveller. They planned on taking different routes aswell.

Journal:
After the fight, one of Polo's wounds healed but was still visible. It would be a reminder of his absolutely annoying brother who made him go to his limits.
Marco had talked to Rufous - a former traveller - and planned on following her tip to visit the Night Keeper Pack. Polo thought of this as just being scared and felt superior. He wanted to trust his nose and see where he would land.

When he got old enough, he left the pack, being bid farewell by his whole family and walking in the opposite direction of his brother, not turning his head back once.

Journal: Polo has been walking for a while and certainly didn't expect how tiring and how straining it would be, he stopped at a nearby pack territory, he waited patiently sitting down resting his young limbs, at some point a female arrive, she has a brown and grey pelt and a calm expression
"Hello? Who are you?"
She ask looking at the young one standing tall with a imposing yet comforting aura
"The name's Polo, I'm a traveler from the Noname Pack"
He reply standing up, the female tilt her head to the side then smile
"Ho goody I never saw a traveler before, I'm sure Nizerin won't mind, I'm Laeryphe, come"
She spoke kindly before turning and walking away her tail wagging happily, Polo follow her to the camp, it's in a calm valley, many wolves working on their own thing, an old male trot up to them he seem a bit stressed
"Laeryphe, who is the little wolf with you"
He spoke looking at the female, as she was about to speak Polo cut her to it
"I am Polo, a traveler from the Noname Pack"
He spoke proudly catching the attention of the older male and the female
"Well, I suppose I don't have a reason to turn you down, you may stay"
He spoke shoting a mean glare at teh female before leaving, the female turn back to Polo with a bright smile her tail wagging
"He's just stressed don't worry, come I'll show you your den"
She says walking to a small den with few nest, it seems like the den is quite new and need improvement, it wasn't has comfortable as the one he had at home but he had the whole den for himself, during his stay he helped around a bit, mainly helping the newly installed pack to built den and joining the hunters for a few hunts

Journal: Polo doesn't usually give you gifts, and you're leery as they grin suggestively when you take it. You really don't want to hear what, in their opinion, you can do with it. +1 to Relationship Gained 1x Bone! lol

Polo travelled through the woods, a pep in his step after his first successful journey to a pack. He was surely ahead of Marco now, as he was already onto his second pace. If he could find it, that is...

Soon trees were towering over him and shadows curled towards his pelt. The wind seemed to whisper when it whisked by him, the scent of night clinging onto his fur even though it was day. At least, Polo thought it was day. It was too dark to discern otherwise, but that much time couldn't have passed already.

Soon the branches clung to pelt, pricking his skin from underneath his thick fur. Eventually Polo burst through the shrubs into a large, cleared area. Near the middle wolves milled about in the sun. Looking up, Polo realised the canopy of leaves broke away here, allowing the sun to warm the earth.

A wolf jumped towards him, sporting a friendly face. "Marco! What are you doing back here?"

...Marco? Oh bother, this must be the Night Keeper Pack, where my pathetic brother headed to. How did I end up here?

The wolf in front of him definitely looked like Shadow - the alpha - weird swirling patterns and all. "Marco? I'm Polo!" He snapped, posing to hopefully make himself look more handsome than Polo.

Shadow smiled, seemingly not embarrassed by her mistake. "Well, it's good to have you Polo. Are you going to stay?"

Polo thought for around one second. "Of course I'm going to stay! I'm going to be better than- I mean... I'm going to... rest here... for a bit..."

Shadow chuckled. "Of course, make yourself at home then!' Gesturing for Polo to follow, she led him to a small cave where another wolf that looked like a traveller rested in his nest.. "Marco has already left." She mentioned. Thank god  "I'm glad I get the honour of meeting his brother too."

"It IS a great honour!" Polo puffed out his chest. "I'm way better than him!" Shadow just smiled, a kind glint in her eyes. "I'm sure. Well, see you around Polo! Please enjoy your stay."

After Polo was comfortable in his nest, he spent most days exploring the camp. First the caves, then the clearing. And now the cliffs. On the side of the clearing a small outcropping shaded the area when the sun rose and caves dotted the bottom. Near the edge of the clearing where the cliff sunk lower vines swarmed the walls and floor, suffocating the stone and dirt underneath.

Walking on the carpet of vines, stalks and leaves, Polo leaned against the wall, feeling sprouts filter through his thick pelt. Suddenly the vines gave way into the cliff wall, tangling around his legs and he leaned heavily to the left. Scrambling to untangle himself, Polo, curiosity taking over him, slipped through the stems into a dark cave.

Once he lay a paw on the cold, stone ground, he noticed the darkness around him seemed to recoil from the light his slit in the vines brought. Hands of shadow reached towards the gap, darker than the darkness, solid when they curled the exit closed. Polo could only stare at the phenomenon until he forced himself to snap out of it. That was his exit!

He lunged for the dark hands, snapping his mouth closed on the fingers only for them to dissolve into the shadows. He slashed at the overlaying stems that blocked the way out, but before his claws ripped through them a voice stopped his paw in it's tracks.

"Uncover this place, will you? Do you want to grant the shadows free reign when darkness falls to blanket the earth? Unless, are you what I've been searching for; a wolf with a dark heart?"

"Y-you want a wolf with a dark heart?" Polo breathed, thinking of no other question to ask despite all of the ones that swirled inside him.

"It is that I seek, and have sought, for countless millennia. That wolf, Shadow, is one with immeasurable power. Faeclu scum!"

The voice spat, echoing from further inside the cavern.

"And you, Wolf Who Escapes. You are here. Finally."

A shiver ran down Polo's spine.

"Now. What name do you don?"

"Polo.:

The word was torn from his throat and hung in the air, his very being engraved in that name.

"Polo~"

There was a deep chuckle that resonated in the air.

"Then this will be difficult. I need you to bring Marco to me. I need both of you, but I know the hate for your brother runs deeper in you than in him."

Polo snarled, angered that this voice knew his brother as well as their hate to each other. The voice ignored his growl.

"Follow his scent and bring him to me. But don't forget the role you play in this. Both souls are needed in present, both pulsing with hate. And then it shall be fulfilled."

Spinning around, polo headed to the vines, ready to paw them aside and leave.

"Never. Me and Marco will never meet again until our age catches us and we retire. Only by chance would we both end up here again, and I hope that never happens!"

Nudging the vines aside, Polo slipped through the gap before pawing them together, not wanting to 'grant the shadows free reign when darkness falls to blanket the earth.'

"What are you doing here?"

Polo almost jumped right back into the cave, but instead he whipped around, heart pounding like
a stampede. "Shadow!"

"Polo... Again, what are you doing here?"

Polo lowered his head and marched past her. "I'm leaving. Thanks for letting me stay here though. It's been fun."

"What? Your're leaving? At least take a carcass with you."

Polo just nodded, padding to the pile of kill and scooping up a rat in his jaws, not bothered to take anything larger.

"See you. I'll probably be back."

Polo shrugged before briskly leaving the clearing. He knew that voice wouldn't leave his mind until he left the territory. Even now if whispered in the corners of his mind.

"You can't escape Polo! It is destiny I am freed, and a soul like yours reacts perfectly to Marco. And do you not long to explore further? You saw the tunnel. You ignored the tunnel. But it will eat you! You won't forget this wolf! I will reign fierce and terrible! You will be the first to feel my wrath! WHERE HAS MY POWER GONE!"

Polo had to ignore the persistent yelling, unbearable persuading and terrifying threats. If he was far away, nothing could happen. His soul - whatever that meant - wouldn't free whatever lurked in that tunnel and he'd stay away from Marco even more, actively trying to go where he wouldn't.

Running further until he burst through the shrubs, Polo searched for his next pack, making sure to scent the air for Marco before anything. Then he moved on, travelling and journeying to his next milestone, to his next stop.

Hopefully things would go better for him and no malevolent beings would uncover secrets that should still be buried...

Journal:
Polo was worried. He felt like resting for a bit, maybe at home? He made his way towards the Noname Pack to calm down for a while. Or that was the plan, until he sensed Marcos scent. His damned brother thought it was a good idea to come home at the same time as him? Polo was angered, he just wanted to see his family... But he couldn't. It would be too dangerous to meet him - and he didn't even want to see that face! So he quickly moved past the den site, hoping that noone would realize that he passed through.

Pack name and ID/link: Moirai Den
Decors added (optional):
Journal: Marco showed up to the Moirai Den first. He was excited to start fresh, without his brother Polo. About a day or two later, Polo showed up at the entrance of the cave with his head low. He had gotten lost and ended up in the pups play space. One of the older pups lead him to their Leader, Myoga. Myoga ran the pack with an iron paw, keeping everyone fed, working, and moving at all times. When Marco found out his brother was around, he flipped out. He yelled at Myoga and anyone who would listen about how awful his brother was. Myoga didn't care to listen, nor did she care for the yelling and arguing. Marco became a hunter for the pack, training alongside some of the best hunters in the moirai area! That was until one of the members of the hunting pack was injured. Polo was forced to join alongside his brother. Snarls, clawing, and arguing ensued during the hunts. They fought eachother instead of the prey, which lead to many many failed hunts. It left the hunting pack members irritated and annoyed beyond reasoning.
Marco and Polo had both fallen for an older wolf named "Onyx". She was more of a "cougar" or so you could say. Once Marco found out polo liked her too, he messed up a hunt horribly. Two members were injured in the process, leaving marco and polo to fight once again. They both told Onyx separately, but both were rejected, harshly. She schooled them on manners, behavior, and knocked some sense into them. They were kicked from the hunting pack, and ultimately, Myoga decided it was best to send them back where they came from. With cold regards, Myoga sent them home, hoping to never hear from them both at the same time again.

Journal: Polo was wandering the lands, desperate for his next stop when he stumbled across a small clearing in the woods. He was a bit uneasy about it, and decided to look around. He could feel a pair of eyes watching him from the shadows of the trees. He heard a thump behind him and turned to see a large wolf with dark eyes. "What are you doing here", the looming figure asked. He was clad in wolf skulls and fangs with scars striping his face. "I'm just looking for a place to stay. I'm a traveler, and I mean no harm" Polo responded, trying to avoid his piercing gaze. "That's enough, Fastúlfr". Another wolf stepped into the clearing, this one adorned in a cape. The larger wolf stepped back, bowing his head. The newcomer turned to Polo. "I am Rayen, daughter of Aumber. It is our pack tradition to take in those that wander, so you are safe here." Polo sighed with relief. "Please, make yourself at home", Aumber said as she led him to the rest of the pack

Journal: The last pack was quite nice to Polo, but when he continued his journey, he had the feeling that he wanted to visit home again. Especially, as Marco was there last time - which made him slip by unnoticed - it was his time to see his family now! He headed towards the Taiga.
When he arrived, he had a great welcome and started telling stories. He might have exaggerated a tiny bit - just in case, he still wanted to sound cooler than his brother - but he was quiet about what happened at the Night Keeper Pack.
He planned on leaving after a few days.

Journal: After a visit to his home pack, Polo stumbled upon another pack to set up camp with for a few days. He was welcomed in graciously by the wolves. As he claimed a spot to rest, the Pack's Leader approached Polo, and asked if he would mind pupysitting. Puppysitting, of all things, he thought. He scoffed audibly, and Collie, the leader, frowned a little.
"Don't you think that puppysitting is a valuable job?" The leader asked.
"I..." Polo hesitated a moment, feeling out if the leader may kick him out if he was truthful. "Honestly? Not really. I came out here for adventure, to prove myself, not to stay in the den and watch pups."
"I understand that watching pups might seem like a bore, but I can assure you there's more to it than that," Collie began. "Puppysitters help shape the future, though. They fight any threats to the young, and teach them valuable life lessons. Plus," he added with a small smirk and a wink, "I bet your brother hasn't even tried it. It's something you can say you did, that he hasn't."
Polo thought for a moment. His brother probably hadn't tried it. It was something he could hold over Marco if he hadn't...
And with a nod, Polo agreed to the work.

Pack name and ID/link: Comet Eclipse
Decors added (optional): - Purple Lunar Storm Discharge
Journal: Polo wanders in the dead of night, trying to find the next stop in his journey. A bright streak of purple flashed across the sky and he waited for the accompanying boom, only for it to never come. Instead, a voice rang out behind him, warmly welcoming him to the territory of the Comet Eclipse pack. Though he did ask about the lightning, he never got a straight answer and eventually stopped asking altogether.
He spent his at Comet Eclipse joining the hunting parties on their tours, and during his free time he talked long into the night with others like him.

Pack name and ID/link: MoonValley Banes
Decors added (optional): - Didn't have anything to spare unfortunatley
Journal: After his goodbyes to the Comet Eclipse pack Polo spent the next few days crossing from the Praire into the vast seemingly endless grasslands. After what seemed to be weeks Polo came across a luscious biome in which he decided to explore after spotting the sky high mountain that seemed to be in the center of said territory. Not long after crossing the border he came across a wolf whom he now knows to be Boreas, the beta of the MoonValley Banes. The two immediately were able to strike up a comfortable conversation before Boreas decided to invite Polo back to the pack grounds. After meeting the plethora of omegas and lower tier wolves he was faced with his next challenge. That being to climb to the top of Mount Glory, the sky high mountain that the most elite wolves of the pack resided on. Seemingly with ease Polo was able to conquer this challenge. Many of the pack members applauded him and rejoiced. Even Alpha Zeus made an appearance in which he invited Polo to stay amongst the skilled warriors, although Polo declined as more adventures await. Throughout his stay he told many tales of his journeys to the packs pups and adolescents, some of which seemed to want to follow in his steps. After about a week Polo decided to say his goodbyes once more and be off on his next journey.

Journal: Palo arrived in the mountains terrain, paws tired and slightly sweating from the spring sun. Out of the rocks came bounding a large muscular wolf, a rabbit in its mouth, and its moonshine eye with one eye scarred over approaches. The wolf looks him up and down. "Traveler?" The wolf whispered. Palo nodded and the vanilla wolf told him to follow. Palo followed up the mountain, across a creek, and in the dip of a tall mountain through the trees lay a medium-sized pack. "My name is Reaper, I'll let the alpha know you're here. Be careful of the pups. They're feisty this year." The one-eyed wolf trotted off. Palo counted the pups, there was twenty, and then another pregnant female. These wolves have been busy. A medium-sized older female walked up with two pups behind her. Blood dripped from her face, and her ears were pierced. Palo thought it was interesting. He learned her name was Accalia, and she ran a type ship, besides the overrunning of puppies. Accalia told him to stay for as long as he liked, but his night would be filled with the growling, laughter, and rumbling of puppies. Palo agreed to stay, on one condition. As long as Palo got to tell his stories from other packs to inspire future travelers. Accalia happily agreed, and told him to tell them everything, no matter how brutal.

Journal: After a while again, Polo found himself near his home. He heard rumors about a war going on in his home pack and wanted to check if that was true. The territory was scarily empty and when he entered the den site, he found out why: His family was holding the burying ceremony of the late leader Delilah. She had passed the night before. The pack lovingly welcomed him aswell as the new leader Viktoria. Woah, she looked tough. He could see her puff out her chest - obviously proud about her new role - and was told that he is fine to stay as he is known by many of the pack members. She was too young to recognize him.
Even though the first impression was strange, he kind of liked her. She wasn't as boring as many of the other members - but a little bit too arrogant for his taste.
After helping out for a few days and fending off some of the "Cultists", Polo left for another adventure.

Pack name and ID/link: Kingdom of Light
Decors added (optional): Scar: Ear Notch [Left]
Journal: Polo spent his time at the Kingdom of Light doing some light sparring with the hunters of the pack. He enjoyed himself, and made the mothers of the youngest members give him some dirty glances for his vulgar language in passing while conversing with other packmates. Polo left the pack with a new scar on his left ear, a little notch from a spar with Lakua.

Pack name and ID/link: Winterset Pack
Decors added (optional):
Journal: Polo found himself staying with a strange pack of thick-furred mountain wolves, he was settled into a den simply known as the Traveler's rest, where he shared with the pack scouts. The wolves of the Winterset pack were friendly enough, if you ignored their lead wolf, who he had been warned on his arrival was prickly towards travelers.
The pack shared their stories with him, the older wolves giving little mind if he interjected while they were speaking or was too harsh with his language. It was a nice change of pace for him to be met with patience rather than annoyance. While the lead wolf may have glared at him from across the camp, the pack did not ask much from him, the dens were well kept and the pups had plenty of wolves keeping an eye on them. Polo found himself growing comfortable and in no real hurry for a time, but his competitive spirit continued to burn when his thoughts drifted, reminding him of his brother, probably somewhere far off getting stronger as Polo listened to elders tell faerie stories.
After a few goodbyes he headed out again, rested and determined.

Journal: After wandering, Polo came upon a strange pack that called itself 'Stonetooth' in the Coniferous forest. Upon approach, he was brought to their leader, Teeth of Song, to exchange information and hopefully stay for a little while. He learned that they are a highly nomadic pack, constantly moving, diverse and strange with wolves from many places and few permanent residents beside those descended from the First Tooth. He was ecstatic to see such a diverse pack, and immediately began mingling with the crowd. However, his aggressive personality didn't land him many friends, and he knew it was time to move on after a few days.

Journal: Polo realized that he was getting old. He had promised to come back home when he was six and that age he was currently close to reach. So he started his last journey back home.

He managed to avoid any Cultists and arrived at the den site rather quickly and was welcomed by a huge group of wolves welcoming him back home. Ah.. family. Then his eyes caught a glimpse of Marco. Ah family... That loser must have arrived a bit before him. When the wolves were celebrating, his brother didn't seem to be around - he was quite pleased by that. After the celebration, the two barely spoke, but Polo enjoyed the stay with the rest of his family quite a lot.

#6 Oureya - Goddess of the Lunar world

Started journey: 1 years 3 months

Bio (last updated 08.11.2024):

It all began with a bright blue light. It called to her. Asked her if she really wanted to just... watch all this time. Oureya hesitated... in fact, it really started to bore her. She gave into the light... the lunar light. The next thing she saw was this brightness again, which faded into a cozy cave full with nests. She could feel warm fur and a calming heart beat.

Looking up, Oureya looked into the eyes of her... mother Cara - all in blue. "Oh no! She also got the mutation!", Oureya heard her mother whimper. Next to her a deep voice tried to reassure the saddened mother:"I will run some tests on her later. It might not be that far developed.", the herbalist Reinhard spoke. Then Oureya realized: She had just been born into a wolf pack on earth. However, her vessel - a beautiful blue wolf with red stripes - had inherited a sickness or rather a mutation called Hereditary Cataracts which caused wolves to have barely or no eyesight at all.

In this case though, the newborn pup could see very clearly. Oureya was a goddess of the Lunar Dreamlands. Sick of only being a watcher - and after being talked into the idea by a lunar spirit/light - she decided to wander on earth herself. Because of her mutation, she could not see the real world. But her connection to the Lunar world made it possible to see everything - and even more. It was as if the real world was decorated with Lunar plants, rocks, jewelry and much more. Everything she saw had this blue tint and all of the wolves - her mother aswell - had Lunar ornaments around her. The herbalist was grown over by Lunar plants. It seemed her Lunar sight showed her some traits of the wolves and her surroundings, that weren't usually visible. Oureya wandered in the normal world and the Dreamlands simultanously.

The young goddess was ready for a life on earth.

Journal: As Oureya was possessive of her whole contiousness during her childhood, she had a lot of time to observe the pack she was born into: The Noname Pack. They have been at war with another pack they called The Cultists for quite a long time. Oureya had already figured out most of the wolves and knew all important spots in the den site.

Although her mutation, Oureya's mother gave her nearly full freedom, as the goddess somehow convinced the herbalist that she could navigate with the use of her other very strong senses and a very shallow image that comes through her pupils.

Oureya wasn't too good at playing with the other pups. She rather started philosophing with the elders and checked out the area. When she met the travellers Marco and Polo, she knew that was what she should do. With her mutation, she couldn't just become a hunter. That would be too obvious to the others and she wanted to keep a low profile - at least for a while.

When she grew up to be an adult, she parted ways with her family. Cara was of low spirit when her daughter left, but knew she could handle the world out there. The young wolf was escorted to the border of the territory to keep the Cultists away.

Decors added (optional): Mushroom Path background.
Journal: Oureya stumbled upon the Pack of Silhouettes when she was deep into the glaciers of the far north. The cold and barren landscape was alight with a soothing, light blue lunar glow only visible to her. During the nighttime, a full moon at that, she found herself before Casper. The lead wolf who, to Oureya, was decorated with lunar wisps.

Casper graciously allowed Oureya to stay, introducing her to the pack. She explained their practices and worship of the moon and all it brought to them. Oureya found herself liking Mooncast the best, a fabled wolf sent by the moon herself.

Mooncast helped Oureya navigate life with the pack, and helped her avoid conflict with one wolf, who seemed to dislike and distrust her. Wanderlust. Wanderlust often kept to herself, watching Oureya, suspecting that something was wrong about the quiet traveler. Every day, Oureya felt as though she could feel Wanderlust's cold eyes watching her. The other wolf had a clear interest in the traveler, and confronted her one day, while Mooncast was pupsitting.

"I want to know of your travels. Of the lands you've visited and the experiences you've had," Wanderlust told Oureya. "I have a thirst for knowledge, but I do not often share my wisdom. My mother called it selfish, I call it secretive. I have traveled the great expanses of the north, but you are from some other place. I want to know more about this place."

Oureya conceded, and told Wanderlust of her journey. She carefully hid the details of The Noname Pack's struggles against The Cultists, and did not mention her unworldly origins. After hours of talking, Wanderlust seemed satisfied and left Oureya alone.

On her last day with the Pack of Silhouettes, Oureya bade Casper and Mooncast farewell. She said goodbye to the pups, who'd asked her for stories, and ignored Wanderlust's eyes on her as she left. Ready for the next adventure, she cleared her mind and began to walk.

Journal: Oureya could feel a strong energy emanating from the territory she was approaching. As she was led into camp, one of the wolves she saw shimmered with a moonlight glow, stronger than those above the other wolves. It was Nightshine, a male with melanism who was born on a full moon during the first lunar period. During some nights, Night Shine roamed the dreamland in his dreams. One day while Oureya was basking in the sun, Night Shine approached her:
"I saw you in my dream. You are more than you say. You are someone more special than you seem at first glance."
Oureya was frightened by Nightshade's knowledge; she feared that her secret of who she was would come out. And this was not yet the moment to tell anyone. She wanted to flee the pack later that day but was stopped by a kicking feeling in her stomach. She was pregnant.
One of her children had been born blind, but Oureya knew that the pup had inherited some of her powers.
"Let Odelliah stay with us." - urged Night Shine-"she, like you, is something more.... She has grown fond of us, she can't imagine living outside our territory. Let her stay."
Oureya trusted Night Shine not to give away her secret and to look after her daughter. And in turn, she herself left in search of more adventures.

Journal: Oureya thought about her last stay while she walked through the forests. She had become a mother... but wasn't sure how she felt about it. Never would she have expected to experience such an earthly thing. She hasn't been able to really build a connection to Odelliah and the other pups but somewhere deep down she could feel a happiness - even when faint...

She walked past the territory of the Noname Pack but didn't bother going to the den site as not that much time had passed - at least in her understanding - so she moved on.
She only stopped for a few sips of water where she was talked to by the now elderly stud Balder who seemed to be out on a stroll. He was surprised to see her and wanted her to join him back home. As she refused, he scolded her for at least going somewhere safe, somewhere where the Cultists wouldn't go.
She knew that they wouldn't be able to harm her, so she just said sorry and moved on.
Balder was really growing old... the lunar tendrils that decorated his body in her godly view began to slightly fade.

Journal: It was still mid-Spring when Oureya arrived at Haglvakt, a lonesome back on the very edge of the grueling tundra. Despite their seemingly aloof nature from being so far from any other wolf packs, Marrowbreaker and the rest of her pack welcomed the nomadic she-wolf with wagging tails.

Journal: As Oureya wondered around, leaves crunching under her paws as she moved around tall trees, she found herself in autumn season when leaves were changing. Oureya quickly got founded by Aerides, a beautifully tricolored wolf, wearing a necklace of owl talons and special blue markings around her face and limbs with an air of royalty around her. She put pause to her hunt to question Oureya, asking about the reasons she came across their territory, quick to find out shes a traveler and happily welcomed her, introducing herself. Aerides had Lobster[]claw take over the hunt, a bright eyed, cream colored wolf, he gave uncertain glances towards Oureya but continued on with the hunt. Aerides soon leads her to a small clearing within the woods, flattened land covered by leaves before padding off to get the pack's 'Alpha'.

She didn't have to wait long before Aerides returns with another darker tricolored wolf, many different species of butterflies fluttering around him happily, some attaching to the flowers adorning his pelt with a owl talons necklace and the same special blue markings covering his face, tail and limbs alike to Aerides with the same air of royalty, wearing an expression of respectfulness towards Oureya as he'd greet her. He introduced himself as Morning!glory, a king to his pack and Aerides as his queen, welcoming Oureya fully to the pack after listening to her stories of travel. He lead her forward to where the pack stayed as Aerides continued on to find her hunting party and rejoin them.

The both of them padded into a large clearing with many rocks and undergrowth where dens were located and colorful busy wolves moving around, although with a new wolf joining among them, they crowded around although a few more cautious wolves stayed back. One of the many Pupsitters approached, her black and brown pelt adorned by carefully weaved branches with few flowers attached to them, she introduces herself as Bird~of~paradise. She takes over as Morning!glory grins and moves on to do work, letting Bird~of~paradise to teach Oureya of their ways and how they worked. Butterflies were praised and taken care of like gods, only the current rulers wearing flowers and a blue like markings somewhere among their pelt, their future heir going to wear the same. Herbalists marked with a specific marking upon their face as a sign they are closer to the pack's gods when they've grown.

Bird~of~paradise has Oureya follow her, moving around the clearing to each den and introducing their locations and some wolves within them soon taking her around where the pups and adolescents were located, peaking in there was many healthy and happy puppies bouncing around, playing and some were sleeping along with the adolescents wondering around, playing with some and a few minding their own business. Oureya spots the oldest current adolescent, bearing three eyes instead of two, the two has eye contact for a split second as one can with a seemingly blind wolf, she could tell there was something special about the young wolf, many extremely bright tendrils surrounding her as said young wolf continues on with what she was doing, seemingly not minding the odd wolf. Bird~of~paradise notices this and introduces Oracle to Oureya. Pups soon noticed Oureya and some brave pups approached her while other cautious ones stayed back with the pupsitters whom's also within the den, one of the pupsitters joining the growing crowd of pups and greets Oureya, introducing herself as Blue;;jacaranda, a beautifully blue, silver and greyish wolf with friendly eyes. Blue;;jacaranda takes control over the group of pups, Oureya can tell theres quite a pattern with flower type names among the wolves as each pup pipes up to introduce themselves with wagging tails and even the more sheepish ones joining in. Welcoming in the blind traveler with them, they keep her among the other adult wolves, some were still quite wary around her but soon got used to her weird presence and many others welcomed her with open paws, enjoying her space within the pack.

Saddened to see her go, Bird~of~paradise offers to gift her, having her close her eyes and once opened, her eyelashes are colored in a bright blue that highlights the rest of her face. Proud of her paw work, Bird~of~paradise steps back as Morning!glory moves forward with Aerides by his side, carrying a sort of lantern in her jaws. He grins and gently gives the wolf a flower upon her ear, wrapped around neatly to stay in place, a gift from their home to her. Aerides set down the lantern under Oureya's jaw and mentions it was made by the pups to gift to her and insisted it be given despite the wolf's obvious 'blindness'. Everyone quickly crowded around her to bid their fairwells to the she-wolf as she turned and walked away to continue onwards with her journey.

Journal: The she-wolf came upon a pack that was overrun by puppies of all sorts. There was one thing every wolf had in common; they were all monochrome. The lead, Alpha-bet, brought her to the Traveler's Inn den where a few other travelers were resting from their own journeys. She overstayed just a bit, but soon made off on her journey with a farewell from the stud Lil Monster.

Journal: Following the streams, Oureya made her way out of the swamp. It wasn't long before she arrived in a forest with leaves of orange, yellow, and red hues. The serene atmosphere and trickling streams seemed to beckon her, drawing her deeper into the area. Stopping for a quick drink at the waters edge she could swear she saw a flash of gray, though as quickly as she spotted it the image was gone. The Goddess turned to survey the area more closely, the feeling of being watched prickling along her hackles.
"Hello, Stranger." A raspy voice called out, she could tell it belonged to a female. Yet, she could not pinpoint where it was coming from. Rustling from above drew her gaze upwards, feeling a bit surprised as she noticed a wolf in the branches of a leaning oak. Her eyes met with the blue ones of a grey and black marked she-wolf.
"I'm Estella. And it seems you can see me for some reason, why is that?" The Goddess tilter her head, understanding now why this wolf seemed odd. She had recently passed, her spirit clinging to the territory as a pup would cling to that of its mothers legs. The lunar glow around this she-wolf was vivid. Ancestors of her bloodline beckoning the spirit to move on, yet Estella refused. "My pack is in a bit of a disarray at the moment. It seems I have left behind my mortal shell, but I'm more than content to stay here." Oureya nodded her understanding, yet gave no clue as to why the Goddess could see her. "I'm sure they'll welcome you with open paws, they are in low spirits since my passing, so it'd be a nice change to see a new face. Travel a bit further west and you'll meet my heir. Maybe you'll bring her some comfort in telling her I still roam our territory. Toxicity is a smart vixen, she won't question you." With that the apparition faded out, back into the tree top she had been spotted in. Following her direction the Goddess continued on, sticking close to the path which Estella had explained to her.

"Well. Hello pretty girl." A gruff voice startled her slightly, and turning toward the sound Oureya was met by sparkling sapphire eyes. In front of her was a large brute, his markings consisting of a half black face, purples, blues, and greys. He stood quiet a bit taller than her, yet she felt no threat. If anything the male was flirting, the Goddess scoffed inwardly, amused by his advances. "Hello, I'm Oureya." With a couple steps the large male closed the distance between them, stopping in front of her and assessing her. "I'm Chaos, scout for the Luminous Lunar Pack..." Pausing, he circled around her, brushing his fur against hers in a rather forward manner.. "Might I ask what a pretty little thing like you is doing within our borders?" After explaining her encounter, Chaos seemed to become a bit more serious.

Journal: After the last pack, Oureya's feelings were a little stirred up. She would often catch herself thinking of Chaos - which confused her. Because of that, she thought she could use some time without new encounters and packs and headed toward the pack where she was born: the Noname Pack.

On her way there, she was surprised by some of the Cultists - the enemies of the pack. They saw her and walked toward her, laughing about the fact that a blind wolf was out and about on her own and menacingly telling her how they will kill her for the greater good of their pack. She was not in the mood for THAT but obviously had to do something about them. So she walked up to them aswell, gathering power that - even in the mortal body she was in - held withhin and threatened them to leave in an instant. The power building up made her eyes glow in blue and the ornaments and other decoration she had collected during her travels, began to glow and pulse.
Of course, the intruders were freaked out and fled.

Unforunately, when she turned around to go home, there were five wolves standing in front of her - all mouths open widely because of the shock. The hunting group "Total Eclipse" from the pack had been out hunting, when they heard something - Oureya threatening the Cultists - and came closer, witnessing what she did. Antarctica, the oldest of them, asked what that was but Oureya refused to give an answer. Instead she asked, if she could return home and rest. The huntress agreed but told her to confess to the leader and explain the situation, or she would tell Viktoria herself.
Oureya let out a sigh and agreed.

They moved to the den site where Oureya was very warmly welcomed. She hadn't expected to be missed that much. Was that how life down on earth always is like? Especially her mother was so happy to see her, crying about how she thought that she would have died already, so long had it been.
Seeing her worrying so much, Oureya felt a weight on her heart "I am sorry... I- I- I didn't expect to worry you and the others that much." "Of course you do! Please, do me a favor and stay a bit... we missed you and I want to be sure that you are absolutely fit before you leave again!" Oureya smiled and agreed to her mother.

So much about no new encounters. She was confronted with feelings she hadn't known before. Also, she would have to speak to the leader about her powers... It was too early for that! But she didn't want to run away, it surely wouldn't be smart to leave without a saying and have the hunting group tell Viktora. She would probably not be trusted after that. So she headed up to the leaders den and asked for a short meet.

The goddess told the leader about how she was born with powers and that she could "see" because of that. She left out the fact that she was a literal god - it was not the time for that information - and asked for Viktoria to not make a big thing of it. At first, she didn't seem happy about keeping it secret, because powers would be GREAT for handling these Cultists, but Oureya managed to convince her, that they weren't well evolved and she couldn't really do anything. She could only build them up but if she used them, she wouldn't be able to control what happens. That - indeed - was too risky, so Viktoria agreed to not make a big fuss about it.
But she demanded Oureya to train and improve her abilities so that she could help the pack when she could control them. She was allowed to stay a traveller but made it clear that she would prefer having her here.
Oureya left with a big thank you and stayed for a little while before moving on.

Of course, the fact that she could not control her powers and that they weren't evolved, was a straight up lie. But it would have been wrong for her to interfere in the situation, because the earth is not her place to be. The fact that she is here is too much of a  breaking-the-rules that she didn't want to risk destroying the balance by interfering in a war.

Journal: Winter seemed to fly by within her home pack,, and after an emotional reunion with her packmates and mother Oureya found new emotions awoken inside her. To be earthly was a truly beautiful and painful thing. She hadn't expected her pack to of missed her so much.. it was an eye opening experience. She made a pit stop within another pack, biding her time as the snow was melting. As spring approached Oureya found herself making her way back to Luminous Lunar. She could feel a pang of.. yearning? The emotions that Chaos evoked in the Goddess were still a bit strange to her, but she knew she would experience these earthly emotions and could do what she could to understand them.
"You just couldn't stay away, huh?" An all too familiar baritone greeted her. And there he was, just outside the border scouting of course. "Did you miss me?"
The Goddess laughed, shaking her head slightly.. "I suppose that must be it, the image of you keeps buzzing about my head like a busy bee." He bounded up to her then, nuzzling her into him. "Come on, I'm sure Toxicity is going to be pleased to see you as well."

She was welcomed with open paws, and friendly faces. As much as she'd missed Chaos, she couldn't deny that she enjoyed the company of the Alphess as well.  With winter now behind her, the sprouts of new life began to show. And not only in the surrounding territory, but within her as well.

Chaos was captivated by Oureya's strength and determination, while Oureya found herself drawn to Chaos's charm and intelligence. They complemented each other perfectly, like two halves of a whole.

As the seasons changed, so did their feelings for each other. What started as a friendship blossomed into a deep and unbreakable love. They became inseparable, exploring new territories together and facing dangers side by side. Chaos's keen senses and Oureya's heightened abilities made them an unstoppable team.

One moonlit night, under the stars, Chaos confessed his love for Oureya. "I've never met anyone like you, Oureya. You make me feel alive, and I can't imagine never having met you."

Oureya's heart swelled with emotion.

From that night on, Chaos and Oureya were not just partners in their duties but also in life. Their love story became a legend among their pack, a tale of how two souls, destined for greatness, found each other in the vast wilderness and created a bond that would last forever whether the Goddess had to leave or not.

With the pups weaned, Chaos knew it was time for Oureya to go.  The pack held a celebration for the goddess,  wishing her safe travels and good fortune.  She had almost made it out of the territory when she once again saw a flash of grey out the corner of her eye. The apparition of Estella escorted her the rest of the way,  she didn't speak this time.  However, Oureya felt a sense of calm wash over her.  Even the late Alphess had grown fond of her,  and gave the goddess he rown form of blessing on her journey as she continued.
