hii rowan! i'm astra (they/them) and i'm brand new to the game, made it on a whim, and am now obsessed, but i have no idea how to work a website like this. i'd love some help! specifically, i cannot remember the quest i did the other day to befriend wolves, and i can't find anything online about how to actually do it aside from it being a part of the 'explore' option.
also, i saw on your profile you're a geo major -- so am i !! :-) how gneiss to meet another geologist
thank you!! i read over that post and i feel so dumb but i just cannot figure out how to send my lead wolf (/me? the pov character) on an exploration. when i go to my explore page the only option i have is for my dedicated scout, who is not my pov wolf. do i just have to send her on scouting missions until she happens across another wolf? sorry if this is confusing! i'm so lost haha i've never used a website like this before
First you click on the biome on the map, and then you click the paw-shaped "explore" button. This will make your lead wolf take an explore step. Every explore step leads to a chance to find and befriend a wolf :)
i feel like i'm not explaining myself well but i guess my actual question is: if my lead wolf is not assigned as the scout, will i still meet other wolves to befriend? so far i've sent my scout on 4 exploration trips and i haven't met any new wolves, she just goes and comes back once the trip is over. is it just sort of rare to run into other wolves? i'm not sure if this clarifies the question at all, but i appreciate your help regardless!!
