Are you sure your hunters get along well? You've got your romantic/friendly parties and your aggressive/stoic parties in order? If you're sure about that, then there's only one explanation I can see, looking at your pack. Your hunters are not high-statted enough to be successful in a high-difficulty biome like the Rainforest. The Rainforest is one of the two most difficult biomes in the game and hunters need somewhere around 1400-1500 total stats (with most of that in relevant role stats) to be successful there. If you move to the Prairie or Desert, you'll be in much better shape. Alternately, you could shrink your pack down to a size that can be fed with the limited food your hunters can provide. If they can't feed 9 wolves, then moving is the only option.
