LF: Discord Long-Term RP partner - 1x1

Hello! Thanks for stopping by. I've never done one of these things before, so please bare with me. I'm looking for 1-3 long-term rp partners as I've just recently gotten into role-playing and I think it would be great if a few people want to join me in our own little story.

You can call me Echis, Viper, or Lime (as that is my discord name). I'm 18 years old, but I've been writing since the 4th grade and reading since 2nd grade. I like to consider myself a semi-literate person and would hope you are as well.

I'm looking for a casual role-play partner that can at least respond once or twice a week. I generally have a very sporadic schedule, so while I can and will rp more than once or twice a week, sometimes I can barely muster the energy for a single post. Even if I can't rp with you on that certain day, I'll always be open to OOC chat and wouldn't mind to role-play with someone that I could eventually consider a friend.

I do require our posts to be in the third-person, past-tense with proper grammar and punctuation. I understand spelling mistakes, but at least try to make your posts readable. As well as possibly 2-3 paragraphs or one long paragraph per response. I'm not requiring it, but please no one-liners. It's hard to role-play without any effort from the other side.

I'm mainly looking for someone willing to role-play warrior cats or something similar. I try not rp canon as it makes me uncomfortable, but I'm flexible as long as our rp isn't strictly canon characters. World-building is something I love to do, as well as character building, so we don't have to stick strictly to the books.

I will only roleplay on discord as it is much more organized than the forums on here. Please either PM me or post below. If you want to request another role-play sample, that is alright, but I'd like to be provided with a sample from you as well.

Roleplay Sample: (From Warriors: Outcasts on-site roleplay)

Her dreams has been plagued by their long journey to the gorge, plagued with Bumblepaw's death and everything else that had been going on. The she-cat had long since gotten over her brother's passing, but with the stress of moving and having to figure out how to settle into the gorge, it the fore front of her nightmares. 

Nectarheart had always been a loner, but she did have a close connection with plenty of the cats that had been left behind. Batstar's death had shaken all of them, even her. This move was stressful and even though she may not want to admit it, she had to - for the sake of her sanity if nothing else. Moving, she recognized her brother's slightly longer and thinner form wrapped around hers and she sighed. 'At least he hasn't changed.' She thought, picking herself up from the cold ground they'd slept on.

Making her way out of the den, Nectarheart found a relatively sunny spot to sit. Her tail flicked and she scanned the camp. How could they be expected to settle down here? The lake territory was their home, it's where they'd grown up at and lived and made memories and now they were expected to settle down into a gorge that their ancestors had once called home and had left for a reason a well. Grooming the cold sleep from her fur, Nectarheart wondered if there was actually a place for SkyClan.

The name's Stabby or Stab(s) and I'd be interested in roleplaying with you! Warrior cats/cats are like my entire roleplay experience for the past 10+ years LOL I'm pretty flexible about the setting & characters but I'd prefer using our own OC's for sure! I'm definitely down for character & world-building, headcanons, etc. where I also enjoy doodling characters together as well! I'm definitely a paragraph person who writes in third-person, past tense where I do my best to try to match length but typically falls 2-3 paragraphs where the minimum I've done is one long paragraph when I'm feeling more uninspired, definitely no one-liners. My schedule is wonky as well as I work a full-time job at nights 5-6 days a week so I'm honestly not worried about us being on at the same time all the time and totally fine with a slower pace as I can be slow myself! I haven't really ever had a roleplay partner before as most of my experience has been with DeviantArt group roleplays but I'd love to try something new and start branching out some more [especially since dA is so unusable now :(] and you seemed like the closest what I'm used to doing!

Here's my most recent example:

A couple hours had passed since the ceremony where Squirrelpaw was announced as a new apprentice in Lynxclan. It was an exciting day for everyone in the clan especially with how nice of news it was during this rough time. Ceremonies were always exciting and after what had happened with Sleet, this one was pretty sweet. Well, Harestep thought it was pretty sweet since he ended up being the chosen mentor for the new apprentice.

It had been a shock to Harestep at first, not expecting to get an apprentice but it was probably time he had one by now, huh? Excitement tingled in his paws he thought over all the training he would have to do but this time as a mentor and not the other way around. He had fun being an apprentice so hopefully, Squirrelpaw will as well. Hopefully, he can do well as a mentor especially since he had no idea what to be doing.

When the celebration had died down and when asked what to do next by the excited apprentice, Harestep's mind went blank. What did they do next...? His stomach rumbled and he remembered he still needed to eat for the day. His mind then jumped from hunting to wait Squirrelpaw doesn't know to what do first to explore the territory to he was now blurting it out that they were going to explore the territory. He paused for a moment, his mind catching up to what he just did. He then explained to her that they'll tour the territory but first, he was going to get something to eat while she finishes up celebrating or even having a snack for herself. Meet him at the entrance of the camp at sunhigh and they will go out.

The cream furred warrior was pacing back and forth in front of the entrance of the den. The sun was high now and he made sure he got here as soon as he was done eating which was... probably a bit too early. Harestep felt restless and had started to pace in front of the entrance. He was never really one to sit still and he was still trying to process the whole being a mentor thing. HOW do you train another cat exactly?? Golden had made it seem pretty easy especially once he was willing to listen instead of ignoring her. Hm... Maybe he'll try to do what Goldenthroat had done which, for starters, was to be very smart and know what you're doing.

Harestep paused in his pacing and forced himself to sit down. Goldenthroat wouldn't have been pacing while waiting for him and he shouldn't be for Squirrelpaw either. His tail swished slightly back and forth as he tried to do his best to stay still. Okay, show her the territory and then come back to camp... Easy enough... His bi-colored eyes swept over the camp as he looked to pick out Squirrelpaw from the rest of the clan.

I do a mix of rp styles so I'm always willing to try out different stories, styles, and just generally anything! I'll give you an example now.

Ember`scar woke up in the warriors den as the sun trickled in and into her eyes. She sighed, being in the middle of the den and having the sun right in her eyes in the morning. She soon got up and padded out of the den, into the sunlight and stretched out her fore arms. She looked around to find not many cats were awake, except her leader in the corner of camp, eating a vole. She eventually decided she would plan the patrols and do her duties as deputy later and then padded off towards the exit of camp before she stopped in her tracks, hearing a voice behind her.

``Ember`scar! Wait up!`` Running up to Ember`scar was her apprentice, Little`paw. She smiled at the young apprentice, turning to face her. ``Are you going on a patrol today?`` Little`paw asked, catching her breath. Ember`scar laughed a little before nodding ``Yes, I am, you didn't think I would leave out my apprentice, did you?`` She teased her young apprentice as Little`paw's flicked her tail in embarrassment  ``Don't worry, your friend Kestrel`paw and their mentor can come too.`` She reassured, watching as her apprentice's eyes lit up and ran off to tell her friend. Ember`scar turned back towards the exit of camp and padded out into the forest.

Ember`scar left the camp, nodding her head to the two warriors on guard, Bramble`gaze and Wren`step. She padded out into the undergrowth and crouched down as she heard something rustle through the grass mindlessly. She slowly stalked towards the noise before stopping and pouncing on the prey. She caught the rabbit by surprise that was hiding and swiftly killed it with a bite to the next. She shook her pelt and buried the prey as she went to see if she could catch more.
