Procreate Resource Swap

Procreate Resource Swap
Posted 2020-09-27 15:43:11 (edited)

Hello everyone!

I have created this thread so people can post their favorite Procreate tutorials, tips, and resources.

Examples:

  1. Tutorials you have found online
  2. Brushes (free or otherwise)
  3. Palettes (free or otherwise)
  4. Personal techniques
  5. Etc.

I personally use Procreate, so I’m extremely excited to see what everyone has to say! I would be interested in seeing pieces that you have created (please no spamming though ^^;).

I love Procreate!  I even suggest it over Photoshop, to be honest.  I use it to edit hand drawn images (images we take of our traditional art have to be a certain quality for my college class, so I touch them up in Procreate), and I use it to draw.  I could possibly have some knowledge if anyone needs any!  :)

I personally think procreate is one of the best drawing programs ever, but I have had trouble finding good fur brushes in the past so here is a link to one.

I am currently obsessed with RetroSupply Co & TrueGrit. I have also used MaxPack paper packs.

Really great landscape brushes from the great TamberElla! And best of all, they're free! Really liked playing with these personally.

I really like these brushes! They’re free and, while there aren’t any specific fur ones, I like the fur-like texture that the acrylic brush has

Some brushes I made a little while ago if anyone is interested (they are free, just write $0 in the box)

I highly recommend Procreate over Photoshop for drawing these days. Photoshop is focused more on photo editing and revising, in all honesty. I love both programs and equally use them for my art when necessary. I'm going to track this thread and update as I find some resources here...

THESE brushes aren't free but they're my personal favs. Rly good if u like working with texture!!

Also lately I've been using Fresco on my ipad, its got some nice features (using both vector brushes and raster brushes on the same canvas, send things directly to photoshop/illustrator, import brushes from photoshop). It doesn't have everything so sometimes I find myself switching between it and procreate sometimes, but overall im liking it.

These are some brushes I made a while ago! They're fur brushes for more cartoon/semi realistic styles.

You can send me a message and I'll give you a link to them!
