Let's write a story one sentence at a time!

Hey, it's my first time making a forum game so let's gooo!

Rules

These are pretty easy!

1 - Keep it PG-16, no NSFW or anything

2 - Only one sentence, can be short or long. (Make sure your sentence isn't the length of a paragraph tho)

3 - Try your best with grammar, I know English isn't everyone's first language and grammar can be hard

4 - English only

5 - Try to have it make sense!

6 - Try not to sandwich replies so that there are only two people making the story!

Here is how the story will start:

Once upon a time, there was a lone wolf in a forest.

Can't wait to see how the story will go!

Their stomach rumbled and they realized they needed to hunt, but where could they find prey?

They searched through the forest, sniffing the ground hoping for the scent of some delicious food. 

Quietly moving through through the thick forest pausing occasionally to catch a scent, they finally caught wind of something.

As they followed the scent through the underbrush, something caught their eye. 

As they turned around slowly to get a better look at the thing, it suddenly began running. 

They chased it farther and farther, deeper into the forest, afraid they might run out of breath before catching up to it.

Suddenly, they heard rustling noices around them.

Another wolf emerged from the bushes.
