Full Breakdown of Your Wolf's Page
Part 1
โค๏ธ 1. Name & description/footnote: This is the name of your wolf and the footnote that shows up directly beneath their name. The footnote is handy for displaying important information about your wolf.
๐งก 2. ID Number: Each wolf has a unique ID number for identification purposes. Wolves with low ID numbers can be quite valuable.
๐ 3. Ownership history: Shows the current owner; the person who originally bred the wolf (it shows as Unknown for New Befriended Wolves); and a full history of which packs the wolf has been a part of in its lifetime.
๐ 4. Level & Stats: The max level any wolf can reach is level 20, but you can continue to boost stats slowly by exploring/battling (for leads), hunting, scouting, making medicines/foraging, etc. You can find chased wolves in Explore when your lead hits level 10 (full guide on Befriendable Wolves can be found here). For hunters, chasers should have good agility & speed; finishers should have good strength; and stalkers should have good wisdom & smarts. Stats also matter when it comes to unlocking biomes - you'll need a scout with at least 101 wisdom to unlock the Glacier, and 101 strength to unlock the Rainforest.
๐ 5. Tabs: The are four tabs - Wolf Details (what you see in the image above); Decoration (shows which decorations are currently equipped); Pack Role (shows the wolf's role and related stats/info); and Settings (edit name & footnote, select role*, edit biography, set wolf as Featured Wolf, move wolf to a different cave**, set priority stats, edit breeding male settings, and secure/unsecure*** wolf).
- *Caves: You can have up to 10 caves in your den. These do NOT expand your territory slots, but rather serve as a way to organize and quarantine wolves. I recommend having an empty quarantine cave, and putting any sick wolves in there if you can't cure them immediately, so that way they will not spread their illness to the rest of the pack.
- **Roles: There are five roles to choose from - Scout (max. 2), Herbalist (max. 1), Hunter, Pupsitter & Mentor.
- ***Securing: If you secure a wolf, it will prevent you from accidentally chasing or trading them.
๐ฉต 6. Retiring, Family, Wardrobe & Equipper:
- Retirement: Retiring a wolf sends it to your Dynasty, where its records may be stored permanently. If you want to keep a retired wolf in your Dynasty, you must go in and manually save their records to the Dynasty, or their records will expire (you will receive a warning in your rollover summary about expiring Dynasty records). Retiring is more expensive the younger your wolf is. Once a wolf is retired, it cannot be traded, sold, or bred; it will no longer occupy a territory slot in your den; and it will no longer need to be fed/played with. Once they hit 7 years 6 months old (this is the age where wolves become eligible to pass away from old age), regular pack members can be retired for free.
- Family Page: This page allows you to view your wolf's family tree/lineage. It will show your wolf's generation at the top of the page, as well as its COI (Coefficient of Inbreeding - this is a measurement of how inbred your wolf is). The COI may show as 0% on wolves with inbreeding further back in their lineage. NBWs (Newly Befriended Wolves) are heritageless, meaning they are First Generation (Gen 1); a pup out of two NBWs is Gen 2; a pup out of two Gen 2s is a Gen 3; so on and so forth. The pup will always be one generation higher than the highest generation of its parents (i.e., if you breed a Gen 1 to a Gen 11, the pup will always be Gen 12).
- Wardrobe: This page is fun! You can edit your wolf to your heart's desires (it will NOT actually change the wolf's appearance -- it's just to preview and play around). Custom decors aren't available in Wardrobe, but you can play with backgrounds, Wolvden-made decors, and the wolf's base/markings/eyes/pose/mutations etc.
- Equipper: From this page, you can equip your wolf with any backgrounds or decors in your inventory (if your decors are buried, you must dig them up for them to show up in the Equipper).
๐ 7. Feeding & Playing: Here, you can feed and play with your wolf directly from their page (you can also do this directly from your hoard). You must feed and play with your wolf regularly, or it will become miserable and leave the pack. You do have a few days to reclaim any wolves that run away due to low hunger/mood for 100 SC each.
Part 2
โค๏ธ 1. Currents:
- Age: Shows your wolf's current age (they age ยฝ month per roll over, and risk dying once they get to age 7 years 6 months of age) - read more about the wolf lifecycle here.
- Sex: Options include male or female; wolves that have not been bred can be sex swapped with the Sex Changer item in the Grove. Breeding males can be bred to an unlimited number of females. But male wolves that are not your Breeding Male can be pair bonded, and can breed only to the bonded female. This means female wolves are generally more valuable than their male counterparts.
- Energy: This is a measure of how much energy your wolf has. It regenerates at a rate of 10% every 7.5 minutes for leads and 5% every 7.5 minutes for the rest of the pack.
- Mood: This is a measure of your wolf's mood. Be sure to play with them often so they don't become miserable and leave the pack!
- Hunger: This is a measure of your wolf's hunger. Be sure to feed them often so they don't starve and leave the pack!
- HP: This is a measure of your wolf's Health Points. Try not to let it get too low - you can use Healing Salves to restore HP.
- Personality: Wolves in Wolvden have many different personalities. They fall into 4 types: Romantic, Friendly, Aggressive, and Stoic. Read more about personalities here.
๐งก 2. Breeding Information: In the screenshot I provided, you see the Breeding Information tab for my public stud. It'll look a bit different for female wolves and wolves of different ages, so I'll be sure to explain fertility and heat cycles as well.
- Age in Rollovers: This is a measure of how many times your wolf has rolled over. Wolves age ยฝ of a month every roll over.
- Pups Bred: This is a measure of how many puppies your wolf has bred (includes deceased/chased pups).
- Last Bred: This is the date on which your wolf was most previously bred.
- For Stud & Stud Price (for breeding males only): Shows whether the stud is public and what his fee is for a covering.
- Fertility & Heat Cycle (for females only): Shows the wolf's fertility. The exact number can be determined if you go to the Fertility Snake and have your wolf tested. Also shows how many roll overs it will take for your female to come back into heat.
- Items Applied: Shows if any breeding items have been applied to your wolf (such as Blue Sage, Great Tit, Red Cock etc.)
- Pair Bond: Shows if the wolf has a pair bonded mate.
๐ 3. Looks:
- Base & Base Genetics: Shows your wolf's base and their base genetics. Tier 1 is the most common tier. Tier 2 is a step above. Tier 3 and Tier * (Special Tier) are the rarest and most sought-after tiers. Read more here.
- Eyes, Skin, Nose & Claws: Shows your wolf's eye color, skin color, nose color & claw color. You can buy Eye Changers, Skin Changers, Nose Changers & Claws Changers from the Grove, or obtain/purchase special event applicators.
- Mutations: There are several primary mutations a wolf can have, including Brachycephaly, Conjoined Twins, Sirenomelia, Polycephaly and Polymelia. There are also several secondary mutations such as Albinism, Melanism, Piebald, Spontaneous Blindness and Deafness. Read more here.
- Carrier Status: Shows your wolf's carrier status for secondary mutations. You can test your wolf's carrier status at Gene's Hollow.
- Variant: Shows your wolf's pose variant (currently, the pose variants include Relaxed, Sentinel and Default).
๐ 4. Markings: This panel shows all of your wolf's markings (max. 10 markings). There are 8 different tiers of markings. When using a Random Marking Applicator, it's possible to get any marking of any tier. Read more here.
