1) Exploring with your lead can help bring in some food and amusement. It's smaller amounts, but can help in the short run for hungry wolves! If you're curious on which encounters give you food check out [this thread]. What I personally do for amusement is explore the Coniferous Forest whenever I notice that it's night (A specific owl encounter can give like 12 uses and I've only ever seen it at night) 2) Regarding amusement: Rescout! My main source of amusement is exploring with my lead and having my scouts rescout like heck! Also the new socializing option can give each wolf involved 5% mood! (Given that there are no personality clashes) of course it only works once a day, but it sure helps! 3) Your issue with your hunters may be how much you're actually sending them out! Unfourtunatly it takes time for hunting parties to really get their game up. The more you send them out, the more synnergy they have! This increases the chance of success. Another thing is their stats aren't the highest. While stats aren't a major thing, they can certainly change the chance of success by a lot! Unforutunately, to get higher stat hunters you'll either have to send them out enough so they level or buy a higher stat wolf. Be mindful that even the best hunters aren't set up for success during some of the seasons like winter (it's currently fall, which even then isn't great for rates!) 4) I'd suggest playing the minigames, doing melvins tasks and doing the snakes quests to help with sc (The minigames can even give food/amusement/bundles! or sellable items if lucky enough) Also, don't sell your stuff to the raccoon! Most of the time you can get more sc from the TC and that can help with buying food |

Hunters level up faster if you send them after the biggest trails they can find. And it helps to have a full 5-member hunting team, to be able to use their energy most efficiently. I'd recommend putting one of your scouts on your hunting team as their fifth member and having Saddle take their place as a scout. Saddle is a stoic type personality and won't mesh as well into your current friendly/romantic hunting team. |

additionally, i'd suggest, for food purposes, trying to do fishing. Depending on rarity and weight you can receive both food (actual fish, or fish meat though the uses are very small) & sc! but the games in general, like stated above, do reward you with bundles, currency, and other sellable objects that can help fund you enough to buy from others in the market or to buy critter bundles. also, for future planning, try to save enough SC for expanding territory. you're able to unlock up to 4 hunting parties which can definitely help with your food problem :) if you ever need some help you can reach out to me!! ive got a slight surplus of food & amusement id gladly offer up if you need it so feel free to shoot me a message!! |
