snailers!

Hello, hello, new Snailer-Keeper, and welcome to the world of snailers!
What are snailers? Well, snailers are interactive adoptables, drawn by Mimi# and managed by me - Chives! They are little creatures with big personalities! Both their looks and personalities vary greatly, and are usually reflective of the biome they live in. Snailers start out as teeny tiny snailer eggs, which can be found through several methods. Now, come on! Since you’re new around here, I’ll show you the ropes to snailer-keeping! I’m sure you’ll be wanting your own beautiful snailers in no time!

Wow, how cute! Where can I get one?
I knew you couldn’t resist! Snailers have two growth stages: the first is their egg stage, the second is their adult stage. Snailer eggs take one week to hatch. You can obtain eggs through two different methods: exploring and breeding. Adult snailers can also be obtained through two different methods: flat sales and auctions. You can also trade or purchase either from other players! To get started on your journey, I’d recommend you get yourself some hinga dinga coins to go explore and find some eggs! Also, don’t forget to check back often, as adult snailers may be listed for sale, or there may be a breeding event!

What can I do with my snailers?
On-site, within this thread: These are interactive adoptables, so you have a few options. If you own at least one adult snailer, you may send them out for a free daily explore in an area of your choice! You may use only one free daily explore per rollover day. Snailers can also be bred to either the current “breeding snailers” listed, or to other players snailers! More information on this can be found in the breeding section.
On-site, within the archives thread: You can use the archives thread to trade and sell your adult snailers and snailer eggs! Please keep these discussions in the archives thread. Note that myself and Mimi will not be moderating these exchanges, so you must come to an agreement with another player at your own risk.
Off-site: let Mimi decide

Oooh, how exciting! You may use one daily free explore if you have at least one adult snailer. Otherwise, you will need at least one Hinga Dinga Coin to explore! If you’d like to see the chances of finding an item or a snailer egg for each area, check out the archives thread!

Pile of Rubble:
We all gotta start somewhere! A pile of some rocks and pebbles in damp soil. Many snailers gather here to stay out of sight from birds, or to hoard some items in the crevices. Although unsophisticated, the snailers here are a friendly bunch, eager to greet new travelers.
This area houses common snailers with a typical appearance, like that of your average garden snail.

Low chance of finding items and snailer eggs.
Common colors found: dull grey and brown
1 to explore

Volcanic Rock:
Hardy and proud, the snailers here may seem unapproachable at first. They have thick, heat-resistant skin, and often show affection by hurling insults at each other. I think I even heard one swear once! Although there is a lack of predators in this area due to the harsh terrain, you’ll still find many snails that have passed by falling into the lava.
This area houses snailers with a molten appearance.

Low chance of finding items and snailer eggs.
Common colors found: black and red
2 to explore

Forest Floor:
Shrouded in magic, the snailers here live a prosperous life due to their symbiotic relationship with the local forest fairies. While the snailers keep the forest floor clean (the fairies are rather picky!), the fairies offer protection from predators. Due to their lavish lifestyle, the snailers here tend to be more uptight, but still welcoming!
Attuned with nature, this area houses snailers with a whimsical appearance.

Moderate chance of finding items and snailer eggs.
Common colors found: green, brown, purple, and hints of the colors of the autumn leaf - orange, red, and yellow
3 to explore

The Pond:
Eccentric and unpredictable, the snailers here tend to be.. a weird bunch. Perhaps it’s because of the high population of predators in this area? There is a healthy mixture of both aquatic and land snails, as well as the ducks, seagulls, and fish that prey on them. The snailers here tend to be a bit jittery and, well, strange.
This area houses snailers with a beachy appearance.

Moderate chance of finding items and snailer eggs.
Common colors found: blue, white, purple, and a sandy brown
3 to explore

Garbage Dump:
Welp, this place stinks… literally. However, many items tend to get dumped here, making it a hot spot for us snailer-keepers! The few snailers that live in this area are quite mischievous and love a good prank. Still, they’re pretty shy, as most of them are outcasts from other areas.
This area houses snailers of all types.

High chance of finding items. Very low chance of finding a snailer egg.
Common colors found: all
2 to explore

snailer handbook!

Snailers from different areas can have varying appearances, described under the Exploration section. But, did you know snailers can also have rare shell types? That’s right - snailers can have different shell types that alter the shape of their shell! Shell types can either be common, uncommon, rare, epic, or legendary!

Currently, the only shell type we know of is the common round shell type. But, when players discover new shell types, I’ll scribble them down here in my handy snailer handbook!
(mutations will also be documented here when they are added)

Shell Type: Round
Rarity: Common (I)
