Main Idea: On an island kingdom by the name of Brannjord (brann meaning "fire" and jord meaning "land"), the people live in a delicate peace. The King and Queen are revered and fair, so the people willingly abide by their laws. Their economy is self-sufficient with everything they could ever need being produced on their island: food, clothing, jewelry, weapons, and everything in between. No neighboring country would dare threaten them. That's because of the dragons. Ever since the dawn of time, Brannjord have been renowned dragon tamers. Only the rich own them, but they're a force to be reckoned with. Special dragon tamers are needed to ensure the dragons don't step out of line. But each day nears the era when the dragons rise up against their captors. It may be closer than anyone thinks.

Description: Khione is small with dark blue scales and light blue eyes.

Personality: Khione is normally passive and obedient towards her masters, but if irritated, she becomes a force to be reckoned with. Her tongue can be sharper than a freshly sharpened sword. She would prefer to avoid conflict if she can, but will always stand up for herself and others. Khione enjoys the company of others and finds solitude lonely.

Strengths: Natural leader, intelligent, swimming

Weaknesses: Stubborn, naive, fighting

Kin: Doesn't remember her mother or clutchmates.

History: All her life, Khione has been a slave to the humans. Her earliest memory is of being separated from her mother and clutchmates. She used to be bitter towards the humans, but she quickly learned it was easiest to comply with their demands. Still, she hopes someday to be free and fly among the clouds without a rider on her back or a tamer telling her what to do.

Description: Finnegan is tall, stands at 6'3", but has a lithe frame. He has blue eyes with flecks of gold swirling among their depths. His hair is light brown which he wears slightly tousled and at ear-length. 

Personality: Finnegan can be very charismatic and charming. He is the king of sarcasm but knows when not to use it. Finn swears like a sailor and enjoys good whiskey or bourbon, but when it comes down to it, he's got your back. He isn't one to back down to a fight, but he doesn't start them either. While some of his actions may be questionable, he holds himself to a strict moral code.

Strengths: Sword-fighting, charismatic, intelligent

Weaknesses: Impulsive, can be apathetic, occasionally dishonest

History: Ever since he was a child, his mother worked hard to put food on the table. His father walked out on them when he was a bairn. She died of sickness when he was 12 and Finn took to the streets. He stole and took whatever work he could find. Then, he realized he had a talent with dragons. He began working at the castle as a dragon tamer for the King and Queen.
