(it has a waterfall that opens up into a somewhat shallow lake that one has to tread over to reach the dry land of the sleeping area)
-Apple

I'm not absolutely sure how to imagine that. So, is there like a lake that surrounds the camp, like it's an island? Sorry for asking so many questions lol

A large, rather still body of water that kinda goes into the lil cave thing a bit. Gives them clean water and perhaps even has really small fish. Gotta be shallow enough to walk across.

Dry feet? Not with Shadow Runners.

Random cultural insight #2:
Each puppy born to Honeywood Pack is given a Birth Certificate to record vital information. This includes birth date and season, parents' names, the father's pack name (if he was a stud), birth stats, and assigned pupsitter. The mother signs the birth certificate with her pawprint in mud, to symbolize the earthen den where a mother wolf protects her pups. The father (if he is of Honeywood Pack) signs with his pawprint in blood, to symbolize the meat that a father wolf provides to feed his pups. These signatures represent the promise and commitment of the parents to raise and care for the pup.

Thank you, Apple! :D

Ooohh, interesting!

Random cultural insight of Moonstone Lake Pack #1:
When a dead wolf is buried, it's a tradition that family members or close friends put something in their grave that they liked. They believe that this makes them keep those things in the afterlife, so it's a very important ritual. Those items (or sometimes prey the wolf liked) often also were something that connected the wolves. For example, when Fox'Fur, a chaser, died, Shadefern -who was Shadepaw at that point and kinda her grandchild, though they weren't actually related in that way- put a stick the both always played together with in her grave.

So, I drew the camp and put it reduced in size on the map!

Is this okay like that?

I also wanted to ask what kind of trees you want. Deciduous trees, coniferous trees, mangroves, a mix, and of you want a mix, what trees primarly and what trees secondarly?
I probably won't see your response until tomorrow btw because I'm going to bed soon.

yeah! it's super cute.

A mix would be good - probably deciduous with a few mangroves - trees that need a lot of water.

I'm sorry, all! I was working and trying to get the group started. I've given it a good start, but it does need a little more work. I haven't created border threads yet as I don't know what borders will look like without Shadow Runners having a permanent territory currently.

I'm glad your pets are okay! I'm sorry you had to go through that.

Midnight, that map is turning out beautifully!

As for Shadowed River's camp, Shadowed River lives in a cluster of large pine trees around a small clearing. Most of the trees have been hollowed out due to other animals or floods, but the trees are stable and firm. Each can shelter 1-3 wolves depending on the tree's size. Wolves of the same roles shelter in nearby hollowed trees. Typically, mates, parent/child, or littermates share a hollow as long as it conforms with their role. A healer won't share a den with a warrior. The nursery is composed of three large trees whose hollows face each other. There are narrow gaps between them limiting access in and out of the nursery, making it well protected. Each hollow in the nursery can hold a mother and her litter. The camp is not far from the river and it makes for good fishing when larger prey is hard to find. Across the small clearing, there's a fallen log covered in moss and lichen. It's from there that the leader makes pack announcements. I know it's not much, but that's what I have right now.

No problem, River!
And thank you, I'm trying my best!
I'll do what I can! I think I'll do the Coniferous Forest righr after the Riparian Woodlands, so we get our territorries done. I can't promise anything, but I think I should be done with our territorries about tomorrow evening, in German time lol. I may be done with those earlier, depends on how much I have to do XD
So for me, it's 26th of January 7:15am at the moment, so I should be done around tomorrow evening, which would be in WDT around the 27th of January 10am, I think.
