Private Trade From Profile

100% support this! I accidentally gave away a pup for free ( buyout 1sc and offering the pup and 1sc). I didnt ask for it back since i would have had to wait two hours to get the pup then another two hours to send the pup to the correct person. "Send a gift" or "send private trade" would be great

I support this! Its much easier to do, and it wont make me as nervous and double check just in case I’m not creating the trade to be public by accident.

I'm always a nervous wreck about creating private trades because I always think I'm gonna mess it up somehow and accidentally give someone else the opportunity to basically rob me blind LOL basically your scenario

Having a button on their profile that automatically makes it a private trade with only them would take so much of the work out of the process, too! And make it a bit more fool-proof :D

Yes, please! 100% support, I do lots of refunded trades, this will help me avoid clicking the “public” button and / or sending items to the wrong user!

Just BTW, you can already sort of do this.
Go to the users profile and click 'send gift'. When there, simply click the private trade option. It already keeps the persons ID in the box and from there just go about filling it as a normal trade. Even if you click 'public trade' by accident instead, a pop up box will come up saying your trying to make a public one instead of a private one as the ID is still there.

Hope this helps, as i dont think a lot of people know this.

Wanted to comment on this to say since gifting has been added it is kind of irrelevant as you can simply press 'send gift' then switch it to a private trade & that users id will still be intact with the trade

If the gifting option wasn't there, I would agree with the suggestion but now, I think having both gifting and private trading features from the profile would make it a bit more messy and unnecessary. However, I would like there to be a mechanic that the game would remember if you offered a private trade or a gift the last time so the button on the profile will show the last of these decisions, which means when you create a private trade, you'll see an option to set a private trade on other users profiles and when you try gifting, you'll see an option to send a gift on other profiles instead.
