introduction
aka, in which owl rambles without direction
Not entirely sure what my goals are going to be other than to get unique things on pretty wolves. I thought I was going to be keeping to a natural look and then... I didn't. Already on day two ha. I will also probably be clean breeding and not using studs, but I will offer mine for stud probably.

I'm starting with Kapu, a male. I planned on keeping him to his mate before learning that there would only be one breeding male. Guess that makes sense even though I'm sad. So now Aaka is his mate/companion, but he harem breeds. Some of you may recognize the names of my wolves and the pack from Julie's Wolves, which I devoured as a kid and read (specifically the third one) until the book started falling apart. I was going to have his first female pup, Sweet Fur Amy, take over for that reason, but I think I'm going to have males inherit and be both the alpha and the breeding male just to make my life easier. I'll also primarily claim female NBWs, but decent stat non-breeder males can hang around, too, as hunters, scouts, etc.

I'll be selling, maybe even just giving away, spare pups because I don't want to lose their lineage by chasing if I can avoid it. Contact me if I've indicated a pup I'm not keeping that you'd like.

Good question! I think I'll be tracking my litters and where they end up, plus their genes. As time goes on, I may even figure out a goal to work toward.

Actually, I have an idea of my first goal: To have a wolf with each base at least once.

Unfortunately, I'm recording these a few days after they were born. I've since applied new markings to Kapu, the females, and some of the pups, and I've chased a few pups before noting them down. I also didn't write down the stats at the time of breeding. I could theoretically get all of this info from the log, but I'm not going to bother with all that.
