Help? advice on what to do with my wolves lol

hey yall so i started playing wolvden when it first came out but then stopped for a while, im a long time Lioden player & just couldnt quite get the hang of Wolvden, But now i am back & giving it a real shot for a change,

i've gotten some nice wolves in my pack( I think...) and ive collected myself a good amount of SC&GC but im just stuck

im not sure what the best route to take my pack in thats going to actually turn a profit if that makes sense?
like should i be focusing on breeding mutations(i have some pies) are there certain markings that i should be breeding for (like how rosette markings are big in lioden) does it matter if a wolf is clean or not?
im open to like fully changing my pack too if what i have isnt going to get me very far, i want yalls brutally honest opinions LOL

i guess im just looking for some advice on whats best to focus my time and in-game money on !

any advice is appreciated !!

Well, I'd start by getting those flea covered wolves out of Unsorted - sick wolves there can spread their problems everywhere. Heal your lead's fleas then, and try and get everyone cleared up. Separate your flea-bitten wolves in a cave with the ones you've cured so they can't spread. Your lead counts as Unsorted though and will prove to be a vector of transmission. Consider using a Cure For All on them because they get a 3-day illness cool down.

Stats and Gen is important. Collecting event items that only come around  1 time a year can turn profit. Don't low ball when selling. If u want to make good profit list for fair price. Buy low sell higher find out what ppl like.

Hey there!

You'll soon probably discover that the market regarding wolves is incredibly broken - it's very hard to get a good chunk of money when selling a wolf, usually this needs new and sought after marks (like the raffle orca marks, not the event applied ones) on nbws, or very high stat low gen wolves. I've been playing for over 2 years and I've never quite understood the wolf market, so if you're used to being overwhelmed, I'd avoid it.

Getting a decent stud is always a good way of consistent income, though you might find yourself spending more on the creation of the stud than you get back, so that too is rather risky.

The easiest way (in my opinion) to get your hands on some more shinies is by selling stuff like event items and amusement especially. The best way to get a good chunk of amusement is to send out enough hunts that you have more than enough food to feed your wolves, and then once that food rots, you savage it for bones, which can be sold for amusement. Equally, you can sell event items like applicators (marking applicators usually go for the most) which will also get you a good amount of money.

Of course this steers a little away from using wolves as income, but hopefully those more well versed in the tricky market might be able to offer some advice if you still plan on going down that route rather than finding other means :)
