I've been playing for around two weeks now and the Trading Center is my biggest grip with the game so far. It's seriously inconvenient at best, and messy and frustrating at its worst.

How to fix it:
- Separate trades into the ones with only wolves, only items, and only currency. The "mixed" trade type can stay for when people want to send a care package or a mixed raffle prize to someone, but they shouldn't be a default. The fact people can jam anything they want in one trade is generally confusing and messy. I've seen dozens of trades with a wolf and 1 herb just to make it show up in more searches (or by complete accident).
- Allow sorting by price and expiration date. You should be able to sort by SC and GC price separately, too.
- Create a checkmark for if you want "offer" trades with no buyout to show up, or maybe if you only want to look at them specifically.
- Show food expiration under the item, not in a hover-over menu. It's very easy to scam inexperienced players into buying almost rotten food.
- Allow us to pick a small preview image for the trade. For wolves it can be a tiny wolf portrait like in the Den mockup above. For trades that include loads of items we should be able to pick one item as an icon preview.

What is needed:
Lots of coding, but it's worth it. Seriously, Trading Center is something that desperately need revamping, so please get game & UI designers, coders and programmers on this as soon as possible. I know this sounds entitled to demand something like this and it's not my intent, but I think the clunkiness of Trading Center is a huge turnoff for most players!

Support! I feel like the trading center needs more functionality for users putting up trades as well. It is incredibly cumbersome to open 20+ trades in new tabs just to bump and/or cancel them en masse. Tickboxes and whatnot to mass bump or mass cancel trades would be a godsend.

I am a bit confused by this.

You can't really force people to stop offering trades as they see fit; whether it be a wolf with 1 herb, or multiple items with sc for gc buy out etc. Or at least I don't like the idea of restricting these options.

You can already sort by wolves, items and currency; its under the search option, next to "General". Or do you mean something different?
As for "just offer" trades, you can find them by putting 0 as both the sc and gc buyout and it wiill show all (unless filtered further).

I do agree that I would love to be able to sort the sc/gc more since there is only a mx BO right now.

Yes to everything! The trading center is so messy right now I try to interact with it as little as possible. Sorting by buyout and item/wolf previews are essential in my opinion.

Sienna Snow, you can kinda do most of the things I mentioned, but it's wildly inconvenient. One thing that I suggested that WD doesn't have at all is sorting by price, which is a must-have, imo.

Anyways! Yes, the TC has the tabs for wolves, items, and etc, but the tabs work as "the trade has a wolf in it", not "this trade only has wolves in it". I think it's messy and confusing. People will create trades with a wolf and some cheap herbs just so people looking for the herbs will also take a look at their wolf sales. Also, what if I JUST want the wolf? Sure, I can PM the owner and ask for just that, but it's inconvenient. I honestly can't think of a single common situation where it would be convenient to sell wolves with currency, or wolves with items.

And even then, I don't want for "mixed items" trades to be removed completely! I just want the wolves/items/currency tabs to work in a way, that if I open a wolf tab, the trades will ONLY have wolves in them and nothing else! "Mixed Items" trades tab can still stay for people who host raffles or just send various items in bulk to someone (as a payment or for traditional breeding, for example).

Regarding your other point, yes, I can search only "just offer" trades, but as far as I know there is no way to exclude them, which would be very nice, too.

i completely agree. The lack of sorting by price  is the biggest thing to me, it seems kinda intuitive. In order to find the best price i need to search, then limit it by the lowest price I saw on the page, and then just keep lowering by 1 until there's only one page of results. Its a ridiculous amount of work for what should be one click
