hello! so bc of the playstyle of my pack, i currently have no assigned hunters. if i explore enough i am able to feed my pack entirely off that, but thats not the issue the issue is, when i accept my daily quest, despite having no assigned hunters, i still get a quest asking me to complete several hunts. this means i either need to claim some wolves and try and force them to hunt together, which wont always work since theyd be a brand new hunting party of one or two wolves, OR i need to just not complete a quest for a few days, OR i need to drop a lot of sc on an item to skip the quest i have a few ideas for a fix for this. 1: have the quest check to see if i have assigned hunters, and just not give me a hunting quest if i dont. i could see how this could potentially maybe? cause some kind of imbalance so also consider 2: herbalist quest. as long as you have an assigned herbalist, have a quest to make a specific kind of cure. maybe the snake has a friend whos sick and needs help? the main idea here is that with an herbalist quest, theres more variety in quest options so locking myself out of hunting quests wouldnt be too potentially game breaking. (though, being honest im not sure how it WOULD be game breaking) thoughts? |

No Support While I understand the frustration of hunting quests being difficult to complete when the hunting party has a low synergy level due to inexperience or wolves having conflicting personalities, it can be improved overtime by continuously hunting so the party can gain proficiency to excel in their roles and by ensuring that pack members get along fine either by carefully choosing the hunting party members or purchase personality changers from the personality snake. Additionally, while you may have to claim wolves to fulfill hunting roles, purchasing wolves with higher proficiency from other players is also an option. These wolves may not give you 100% synergy for your hunting pack, but at least they can improve your chances of a successful hunt. Furthermore, in my opinion, it is unnecessary to implement a feature restricting the quest RNG to prevent players from getting certain quests because of a players personal play style when there are already viable solutions to this issue previously mentioned in your original post. |

i know how to set up a successful hunting party. thats not the problem. i also shouldnt have to buy wolves from other players to complete a one time quest. also, the solutions ARENT all that viable. i either miss out on several days worth of quests while waiting, or i spend about as much sc as i would EARN from the quest just to skip it. and what happens if i get the same quest again? the hunting quests already have adjustments based on the current proficiency of your hunters, so whats the issue in having an overall check for if the user has a hunting party or not? |

No support, it's your personal playstyle. You DO already have the option to skip the quest. Since it's your own playstyle, you have to pay the price (literally I guess) |

Hunters are a major part of this game-play. They exist (to a degree) to feed your pack. I would find it weird if you could get out of hunting quests simply because you are not using this function. These quests can be hard for 100% synergy/proficiency hunting parties too and we can't skip out of those either (and we shouldn't be able to without a snake skull). This sounds similar to another suggestion where the person wanted exemptions for nested female hunters... When I was missing hunts, I used to get an NBW, make a 1-wolf party and let them try; chances are about 50/50 they succeed. I think the "make this cure" quest could be interesting though (limited to the first 19). Or altenatively a tweaking to how many successful hunts you need (though I am currently happy with the settings). |

I'm sorry, but I'll have to say no support. I agree with Rokiar, the game can't cater to all possible playstyles. For example, I may take up a pacifist-leader challenge, where I can't fight ANYTHING in explore. So some items the snake asks for like feathers or carcasses can become completely unavailable except for buying stuff from the TC, which might end up more expensive than buying a snake skull. |
