Whisperpaw Whisperpaw leapt into the tree, trying to help Crimsonpaw out of the tree. "Okay, you're on one of the lower branches, so carefully climb down the the branch on your left...yes, that one....and then," Whisperpaw paused, climbing down the branch she was on so she was closer to the medicine cat apprentice, "...there's a rock and log near the ground, so you can pick which one will be easier to help you get down." Jumping down to the ground, Whisperpaw watched Crimsonpaw work on coming down. |

"Th-Thanks!" The blind apprentice stuttered, jumping down the branches. She had chosen to land on the rock. Though, jumping down, she fell flat on her face. Great. Just great. This day can't get any worse! Crimsonpaw thought. Her nose was now hurting badly, and bleeding slightly, but no real damage was done. She would be fine. |

Moonkit
Watching everything around her, the small kit decided to try and fly. If the cobwebs would keep the would closed, she should be able to fly, right? Padding out of the leader's den, Moonkit spread her wings and flapped them as fast as she could. She was flying! Finally, she was flying again! Changing her flapping from rapid to slow and thoughtful, the black kit started to fly gracefully. |

"Ha! Knew I could beat him! Anyways, sorry for the wait, would you like to follow me into camp?" The leader asked politely, sitting down in front of the loner. Her deputy had walked into camp, without saying a word. That was weird. He didn't even look like he was walking by himself, more like he was sleep walking... I thought she was talking to Bat, sorry! Fixed it now! |

Quietly slinking forward towards the newcomer, the lanky tom was surprised to see that it was a young cat with prominent scars across her eyes. How had she survived this long without sight? Unless there was someone else with her to take care of her? Uneasy, Silentflight glanced around more carefully to try and detect the presence of another, but there was nothing. She wasn't likely a threat to his new clan if he left her there, but at the same time the big brother part of him, who'd always looked after Howlingwind, couldn't just leave a blind cat out in the mangroves alone. Shuffling his paws so she could pinpoint his location easier, Silentflight sat down and curled his fluffy tail over his paws. "My name is Silentflight, and I don't mean you any harm. Are you alone, or need help?" Tinyshadow After Crimsonpaw had disappeared from the den, the little medicine cat, sighed softly and winced as he got to his paws. It seemed every day he hurt more and more, and while the herbs he regularly took eased some of the worst of the pain, he knew soon enough he'd be fully incapacitated. For now, though, he'd continue to hide how badly his body was breaking down from his disease and continue on as normal to help his clan and prepare Crimsonpaw for the day she'd take over as medicine cat. Limping towards the back of his den, Tinyshadow sat down by a pile of comfrey root and began methodically chewing it into a paste so he could eventually mix it with some dock for a strong wound healing paste. It would last a while in the cool den, luckily, and be readily available when needed. |

"What's happening? Why do I hear flapping?" Curiosity pricked at the young cat's paws. But fear overwhelmed it. Is... Is it another? Another eagle? Crimsonpaw was almost taken as a kit by one, she was not having that happen again! The medicine cat apprentice showed no fear, though, instead, she kept rubbing her nose to help stop the bleeding. I didn't fully understand where everyone was, until now! My bad! |

Lilith "I would like that." She said to Mangrovestar. Going to camp meant that she would meet the rest of the clan, which made her a bit nervous. Would they like her? Would she be good enough for them? She should stop thinking about these. There wasn't anything good coming out of this thoughts. She needed to focus on the present rather than worrying about these things. Batpaw "My name is Batpaw." She said still cautious. How much should she tell him? She was at a clear disadvantage if he were to attack her. Though she doubted he would. She was believing him, when he said he meant her now harm. "I'm alone now." She said then paused for a moment, before speaking further. "I… I could use some help." She had managed it alone so far, but it had been difficult without her sister. |

Humming softly at the new information, the tom glanced back towards the camp then to Batpaw. Now he really couldn't just leave her here. But would the clan, with their powers, accept her if she didn't have any? Well, either way Silentflight wasn't about to abandon a young cat in need. "Alright Batpaw, I'll try to help you," he meowed calmly. "There's a clan here who might take you in. They just allowed me to live with them. However-" Pausing, he tried to contemplate how to word it. "They, we, all have special abilities. Have you heard of cats having such powers?" |

"Follow me then!" She stated excitedly, standing up to trot towards the camp entrance. They weren't that far. Another recruit! This moon was amazing! How many cats would they have once the moon was over? A lot more than they started with! That was for sure! Padding slowly so that Lillith could keep up, Mangrovestar wove through the many twisting trees. |
