As Astro said, we generally follow a 1:1 swap ratio and try to match value of items you donate to the ones you take.
The only time value isn't matched is if you wish to swap something nicer for something more common, like a lunar decor for a crafted or when we allow you can take 2 regular swap items for donating a custom decor.
