"H-Here" They responded, still crying. Why did this have to happed every time the black healer spotted the mountains that surrounded them? Halo's paws were still on their head, but they called out to Kryo either way.

"I-I can't t-take it! Ever t-time I see t-the mountains, the m-memories just c-come back!" The Healer admitted, their voice was trembling, but they were no longer crying. The memories of how she ended up here still raced around her mind, terrifying the black fox. For once, Halo didn't feel safe. Was this the wrong place for them?

She had settled down at a sunny spot from where she could watch the others. For a moment she debated whether or not she should follow Kyro and decided to wait. She would like to join his pack, but she worried if she was useful enough for them to stay. Her mother always said most packs wouldn't let her join, because she was limping and therefore not useful enough.

Kyro licked their chin affectionately, whining a little bit. "I'm so sorry…" he paused for a moment, seeming to fight an inner battle. He must have won, because his next words were confident and even, he had made a decision. "We'll move. We'll journey somewhere where those bad memories can never get you. Even if we have to travel to the end of the earth, I will protect you. I will protect my pack." 		Frank
