Elk heart not working

I used my elk heart on a female wolf who i didn't notice had no energy left. She hasn't gone into heat at all. What do I do? 		rossketman

Check your user log & hoard to make sure you did for sure use it. Energy level doesn't affect Elk Heart use; if she had missed a heat and was in the 8 day cooldown period for that, using an Elk Heart should have put her back into heat. If the user log says "gave Elk Heart to [WOLF]" and she is not in heat, then report it as a bug!


Edit: Also double check her fertility! If she is infertile and has not been given a pasque flower to boost her fertility, it will look like she's not in heat until the flower is given.
