How do herbalist work? Like I know they go foraging and make medicines, but why do I have access to only 1 herbalist? Is that the max for someone?

Also, is level 20 for a single wolf the highest they can go? Or can they go higher?

there is currently a max of 1 herbalist for everyone, though they may add a 2nd one.

and yes, lvl 20 is the highest lvl a wolf can go to.

Yup, everyone has 1 herbalist! It's a subject of many complaints actually, but that's the maximum. Every wolf can get to level 20, that's the highest they can go! 		IntrovertedWolf

While a wolf can only level up to 20, that doesn't mean that their stats are frozen after that. In fact, wolves can continue to gain stats throughout their lives. All they have to do is keep working at their job every day. Maximizing stat gains and passing them on to pups is what stat-focused breeding is all about.
