i refuse to learn the recipe, because that many herbs for one salve that full use is 40hp? I can just trade in and make 3 regular salves for 60hp restored. It's not a cost effective recipe, especially when you can sell most of the herbs and make more profit with the regular salves.

My suggestion is to just make it so it takes any 8 unique herbs. So you can't use multiples of the same one, but you can easily use up all your spares. It'd be a great way to use up spares but still requires you to collect a range.

Wholeheartedly agree. Same with cure for all's... I know they can be used with any illness but they are only ever crafted with 1 use, so it's really not worth it. 10 herbs for 3 days of immunity, but any other cure is 3 herbs for 2 days of immunity (because they come with 2 uses.)I f cure for all's were crafted with 2 uses, that would be much more equal. 

I like the idea of maybe something like the current amount of HP healed + some sort of immunity, continued healing, or a temp boost to strength or dex for your next battle or something? Dunno. Would also support the recipe being 4-5 herbs, but tbh no more than that (unless it was just any unique herb like someone said earlier? Or maybe a dandelion and a charcoal +4 random herbs?)

At the moment there's not much reason to bother with cure for all's or rich healing salves. Why do they exist

Oooor maybe make it so rich healing salve restores a percentage of HP instead of flat number? So that way it's more useful for higher level leads. I'm not sure of the percentage itself tho, but it may be something worth thinking of.

If it only heals 20 per use, it should only take 4 unique herbs to make since the regular takes two. 

Even if it healed 50 per use, I'd cut down on the herb costs. Common herbs only, maybe 5 herbs but two of each?

1000% support! Please. Rich healing just isn't worth it in the slightest rn. I would rather just make a bunch of healing salves or wait until I find them in exploring.
