Any guides for traveling wolves? How to send them out? Tips and tricks, etc?

you have to toggle the travelers in your profile, its closer to the bottom when you scroll. After, you'll be able to change your wolves role to traveler and ready to send them out

You send them as a gift to the other player, but they must have travelers on or it wont work
