Hi. Not sure if this is the right place for it, but which wolf should I make my new lead? And what should I look for when picking future leads? My second packleader's about to die. so. any advice is appreciated!

Are you asking for whats most desired in a lead or how/where to look for one?

It really depends on what you want, I alwats make my leads male studs so they may live as long a they can before I have to choose a new one.

If your a big trophy collector or recipe maker, I'd suggest high stats.

If your big about breeding the best wolves, I'd suggest high T base, lots of rare markings, high stats, low gen, mutations, and breed-only eyes. This is what is most desired from most players, though not all are the same. (This is mainly for public studding or selling puppies)
For me, I don't care about generation, but most players do.

You can look for a lot of wolves in the trading center, theres many to pick from but the more desirable traits will be expensive. You can always find a basic wolf and buy applicators for it, but that can get very expesive.

You can also look for wolves within your own pack, but be carful for inbreeding.

You can also befriend new wolves, chased ones tend to have the most likely to have more speacial traits, thpugh new befriended wolves will always have lower stats.

I guess I do want to fight a lot of battles to gain exp and stats so I can breed higher stat wolves, do you have recommendations?
