Best way to level up a future stud?

I have this male that I'm planning to make my new stud when he's gained a few levels (link), and I want to know what strategy people usually use to level their studs as quickly as possible. I feel scouting gives the most experience, but I have two scouts already and I'm working to unlock the glacier and rainforest (or at least the glacier), which will take a lot longer if I train up a new scout from scratch. Right now the new male is a hunter, but he's not getting a whole lot of exp from it. Is there some other method I haven't tried yet, or is it just a matter of patience? 		4everwolf

Scouting is the fastest way to level up, but I like hunters a lot more since there's a chance of gaining 4 stats daily. The only problem is that hunters do gain a little less since they can only hunt 10 times daily. The best way is to send them out 10 times, so they get max exp daily. Otherwise, it's a waste of exp to set wolves as hunters. You'll have to constantly send them out, but it only takes 2 mins out of your day to send them out again. I've had many NBWs reach up to 1k stats as hunters, so it's definitely worth it in the end
