A "Best Friends" Feature

A "Best Friends" Feature

One continuous problem I have had on Wolvden is being able to access my friends' pages easily. I like meeting new people on Wolvden, as well as helping new players, so I often end up with a lot of people on my friend's list. However, this inevitably means that my older friends end up getting completely buried.

So if I want to send my friends a message or a trade, I either have to dig through dozens of pages on my friends list alphabetically, or search my history by my friend's username in order to find a link to their page.

This is inconvenient enough already, made even more if the friend happens to have emojis or non-roman characters in their name that I can't search for. This usually ends up resulting in me having to remember the name of a gift I sent them a while back, or digging through my entire friends list in order to find them (which due to the non-roman characters, does not appear in alphabetical order).

This is not ideal.

My proposed solution is this: After we make a user our friend, we would have the ability to set them as one of our "best friends". Best Friends would not be visible to the public. I imagine it could either push "best friends" to be pushed to the top of our friends list. And/or it would allow us to check a box that says "show best friends only". This would allow for a nice separation between "friends we interact with nearly every day" and friends who may not play Wolvden as often, but you don't want to remove from your friends list.

Thanks for your consideration.

I have played a game before where you had an option to do this. Currently in that game I have 30+ friends so without that feature I have a hard time finding people, especially as most of them have similar names. Totally support!

ctrl-f is always an option or on mobile "search in page"

Still does not work for people without roman alphanumeric characters in name.

Also you still have to go page by page in order to find a page to search in the first place
