Crystal jumped a bit before nodding. "Yeah. Did my mom leave?" She asked the question after a moment of silence, not wanting to be rude, but also worrying for her mother. She knew full well her mother could take care of herself, she was just concerned why she was left in the care of this stranger. Admittedly she was pretty, and kind, and had not done anything to her yet. Crystal still was not sure how she felt about this person.

Raya heart thudded over the fact that Crystal still wasn't comfortable with her yet. Although her smiled wavered for a second she answered sweetly. "Your mother left to go get some rest." She stood up and moved the chair back to the dining room/kitchen, before walking back towards Crystal. "Is their anything you'd like to eat?"

Crystal relaxed knowing that information. Crystal thought for a moment. She was hungry but didn't want to impose by making a random request. "I'll eat anything you have really." She said with a smile, her purple eyes bright as she looked at Raya, enhanced by her for some reason unknown to her.

She grinned "how about some mac and cheese." she went towards the kitchen. Getting out a pan she started boiling some water. "I know its pretty basic, but I figured it would light on the stomach." she looked back at Crystal. "The bedroom is on the farthest left wall, is the bedroom if you feel tired again that would be the best place to rest."

Crystal gave a nod, getting up and going into the kitchen so she could watch Ruby make the food. "Thank you for helping me.." Crystal said as she looked down shyly. She was usually so confident and outgoing. It was strange to see her like this. Crystal shuffled her feet from side to side as she looked at the floor, counting the lines in the floor in her head.

"Oh its no problem" she glanced over her shoulder sadness coating her at Crystals change in personality. As the water started boiling she poured in the pasta, then gathered the butter, cheese, and milk needed for good mac and cheese. "You've no need to feel uncomfortable, your safe here."

Crystal nodded, she did feel safe, but it was still unfamiliar and that was scary. Crystal peeked at the water, blowing at the steam and giggling when it moved. Crystal then watched the steam billow while it cooked. Enhanced by the way that the steam moved as it traveled upward.

Raya chuckled at Crystals innocence, before turning back to the preprations. Cutting the Velvta she set it to the side along with the butter and milk. "Do you know what you want to drink?"

"Chocolate milk!" Crystal said with a smile, eyes bright as she jumped on the balls of her feet a bit, excited to get to eat mac and cheese, once again she got distracted by the steam, not hearing if she asked more questions.

Although the regression Crystal showed worried her, it could be her brains way of healing. Plus the childish behavior was endearing. "Chocolate milk it is." Setting plates down and pouring drinks into glasses. As the timer went off she felt bad she would be taking Crystals entertainment away, but the water needed to be drained from the pan so the cheese and other ingredients could go in. Resting her hand on Crystal shoulder she guided her to the side. "Sorry darling but I need to finish the mac and cheese so we can eat"
