Lore details However no matter how hard the principles tried to hide their secret, Rex found out something that they shouldn't have but in order to still keep things quiet the higher principles banished them to the mortal realm, keeping them in the last form that they shifted into which was a wolf. Rexs pure white coat begun to turn black like soot to represent their sinful nature. They were alone, but soon their brother Solis had somehow managed to find them and kept them company and so Rex had found a sacred area of the mountains that the celestial wings could not see for reasons unknown. This new and enchanting place would become their new home. This is where Rex began to form the white raven pack to find lost and misunderstood wolves who were unholy in their recent packs eyes. Setteling into their new home Rex has new goals and it's to reveal the corrupt ways of the celestial wings once and for all. No matter what they will put things right. Lore is by the amazing Floof #19136 Wolf lores Solis smiled, greeting the older wolf with respect, "Captain," he nodded and Phinus nodded back, watching Solis. "Solis, hello," They smiled at Solis—which ultimately caused him to panic; Phinus just smiled at him, they hate everyone, that's crazy! While Solis was in the midst of his panic, Rex quietly walked to be beside him. Rex's jaw was clenched, upset about the scenario happening, "Phinus," Phinus discreetly rolled their eyes, Rex took notice of Phinus' attitude and narrowed their eyes, Solis sighed, ignoring the banter between the two, "Rex, do you want to go to the forest?" He asked, his nonexistent body shaking with excitement. Rex smiled at their sibling and nodded, "Bye, Captain!" Solis, somewhat, shouted as he took the form of a yellow canary. "Goodbye, Solis," Phinus nodded, watching Rex carefully before leaving the room. Rex rolled their eyes, following after Solis as they transformed into a raven.* *But, that was then.* Solis knew not to panic, but he couldn't help but to—Rex had just been banished, but why? Finally, Solis found Phinus, "Captain, Captain! Where's Rex? Do you know? I can't find them," Solis panicked, his form stuttering between multiple different animals. "That is classified information and you know so, Solis," Phinus growled, narrowing their eyes at Solis. "But—yes, sir," Solis nodded, turning away as his body glitched out and disappeared, Solis left to check the forest he and Rex were always in, but they weren't there. Solis' body began to almost tingle, he had taken the form of a wolf an hour back. His coat felt weird, the way the fur scratched against his skin, how did canines live like this?! Solis growled, scratching at his side with his teeth, "stupid, stupid fur…" he huffed, his body felt even weirder as he moved closer to a tree line. Solis had almost forgotten how cold this mountain was, but he was determined to find his sibling even if it meant catching a cold. Solis' ears perked up, he caught a familiar scent; it was Rex, but they smelt weird, not how they did when they took their raven form. Surely it was nothing, just a different smell… Solis shook his body, stepping foot… or is it paw? Whatever, he stepped inside the forest. What had looked like a normal forest was now basically *covered* in bioluminescent plants and Solis was captivated; he ran through the plants, chasing after the scent of his sibling, only stopping when he had ran into a tree. Luckily, the scent had reached its peak and Solis knew exactly where it was now. Solis sniffed the ground, following the scent carefully before spotting the other wolf. "Solis?" The wolf's voice was shaky and quiet, but Solis knew, he always knew his siblings voice. "Rex? Rex, I'm here!" Solis ran towards Rex, skidding to a halt when he noticed the bloody and infected wounds where their wings should have been, "what… happened?" "Phinus happened, Solis," Rex snapped, their body shaking from how weak they were, "bastard ripped my wings off." "They *what?!*" Solis squealed, licking Rex's wounds as he tried to help them. "I've already tried, it seems as though if you mix yarrow with other herbs it helps," Rex hummed, nudging Solis' muzzle away from them. Suddenly, the sound of swishing and the sight of the surrounding plants flying into the sky, mingling with the wind as they circled around the cause of the harsh winds. "Phinus knows you're here, Solis, get out of here!" Rex snapped, baring their teeth in an attempt to frighten Solis. The sound of Phinus' growl made the two freeze in place, "I'm not going anywhere without you," Solis whispered, his body shaking as Phinus stepped closer, Solis knew Phinus was upset—no, not upset—pissed. Solis whimpered, "Phinus, no—" but it had been too late, Phinus' teeth clamped onto the base of Solis' wings and pulled with a strength no celestial being should have. Solis cried out, whining and whimpering as his body shook and he failed to keep his body upright—Rex tried to force Phinus off of their sibling, biting and snapping at their previous Captain. Yet, Rex's advances only made Phinus more furious, another bite at Phinus' neck from Rex made Phinus pulled back—taking Solis' other wing with them. "Get out of here, Phinus! Get out, go away!" Rex shouted, baring their teeth at Phinus before immediately turning to Solis who laid on the ground covered in blood and unconscious. Phinus left without a word. Finally, months had passed and Rex was healed, only scars lay where their wings once were. Solis still has his own wounds, but he smiled at his sibling, helping with the matted fur surrounding the scars; it was a reminder of how Phinus betrayed Solis' trust. Solis looked up when one of the pups that had entered the forest—one he now knew as Mudris, Rex had found the pup just a few weeks before Solis found him—squealed in excitement about a newcomer. Solis looked over, searching for the wolf before his eyes landed on a new pelt that looked like the wild clay he enjoyed creating a range of objects with. Solis blinked slowly, "is this love?" He mumbled without noticing, Rex had heard their siblings' words. "What? That's stupid, you just saw the guy," Rex narrowed their eyes in disbelief, "you're so strange, Solis," Rex smiled at their siblings excitement, "it appears as though his name is Tolbon, by the way." More months passed and Solis kept watching Tolbon, admiring his pelt and the way the colors complemented each other. "Careful, you're drooling," Rex commented at one point before noticing the blue earring on him, "what are those?" Solis looked up, smiling, "there berries, but as earrings," he laughed, "I found them on my bedding!" "I think I may have a thought as to who your secret admirer is," Rex smiled, looking towards the shy and patient Tolbon. Solis blushed heavily at the realization and his tail wagged quickly. "You think so?" Solis asked, his voice quiet and cracking in excitement. "Think? No, I'm certain," Rex nodded, "you should talk to him." Stud lore The trees dance in th breeze, the wind seems to pick up suddenly and then it stops. Rex eyes become a void black, sclera and all, the black specks of fur scattered in their white being to crawl across their body. Times comes to stop, swirls of tar like smoke seeps up from the dirt and through the grass, killing the green vegetation in the process. It swallows the birds body whole, coving it from the world. The substance expands and become larger until something emerges from the black substance, a fully adult wolf, their coat black and dark blue. Rex is back to normal—When had that happened—they look down at the new formed wolf wagging their tail, like they didn't just make a wolf out of the soul of a dead bird—. Well I don't know what the fuck just happened but your my new friend, come on let's go home!" Rex exclaims waiting for the wolf to follow but when they try to take a step, they fall on their face and look up at Rex before chirping like a bird. Rex's smile seems strained and they sigh. "Solis is going to kill me." Short stories Solis takes a good look at the flowers and he tries not to laugh. "Tolbon, honey that's sweet but that's woolly foxglove.…Its poisonous Tolbon ears tip down, an annoyed look on his face, not looking even slightly worried "To wolves?" He asks as he drops the woolly foxglove. Solis nods up at him. "To wolves. He confirms. Tolbon huffs, looking upset. "God damnit, not again." He pouts like a pup, and Solis can't help but snort. "Come on let's get you to the herbalist den." "So about this gender thing again…" Rex says quietly. Solis groans and looks up at his sibling. "Yes, Rex?" He presses, patient as ever. "What is the point of it?" They ask, tilting their head as they look at Solis. Solis gives Rex a deadpan look."We've been over this Rexy." He huffs. ""But I don't understand!—Motals beings are so complicated!" Rex whines like a puppy. Solis rolls his eyes. "Do you have a problem with it?" He asks generally curious. "No course not I do not care what others refer to themselves as but the Celestial Wings did not have genders so—." "Are we still a part of the Celestial Wing?" Solis interrupts them quietly. "No," Rex answers, their tone low and ears face down. "Rexy things are different in this realm and it okay if something is not the same as it was there." He tells them leaning into their side slightly, Rex leans back. "You are right, my apologies Solis, its just they were strict with rules, I am having trouble understanding how things work here." Rex admits, pouting which makes Solis laugh. "Thats fine, well get through it together," Solis assures, smiling up at them before that smile turns into a grin. "Now….I think its time for a swim." He says, giggling up at them. "What?—Ah!" Rex doesn't get to question him as Solis pushes them into the pond. Solis watches them swear and splash around, he see them laughing though and that's all that matters. He just doesn't understand how no one here is distributed or scared of him like…his old pack. Gram is snapped out of his thoughts by some of the other wolves in the den greeting someone, he looks up and is surprised to see Zero walking in. Zero greets the others but doesn't stop and continues walking….right towards him. Zero doesn't say a word as he lays down right next to Gram, leaning against the pupsitter as if its a normal routine. "What are you doing?" Gram asks, utterly confused. Zero looks at him and licks his nose before laying his head down on the bedding. "Taking a nap." He replys softly and Gram blinks at him before following his movement. 'A nap would be nice I guess.' Gram thinks and leaves it at that. |
