Welcome to Wolvden! I've been here since the launch of Early Access, so I can answer most of your questions! Others may be able to give more detail, and you can also hop down to the User-Created Guides and look for anything from The Grouse House, they are a group of beta testers who made very helpful guides for us! 1. You can sell excess items to the racoon in the crossroads for some SC, you can also find it while exploring. If ever you get an encounter where you can either Go North or Go West, take the one to the North and you will get I believe 3SC each time. Not a lot, but it adds up. When you encounter the racoon in explore, you also can get SC by investigating during certain seasons. If selling at Racoon Wares in the crossroads, I'd recommend sticking with the single use carcasses (rat, stoat, etc) and eggs, as you get 3sc each, where larger carcasses give a smaller return when going by SC/use. 2. You will unlock the Herbalist quest after your 4th rollover. Tala will pop up saying one of your wolves is sick and teach you how to appoint an herbalist, forage for herbs, and craft cures. 3. You can only have a maximum of 2 scouts. I currently only have one, but a second scout is my next planned appointment. Since I haven't experienced the game with more than 1 scout I can't really provide a solid answer here as to whether more is better, sorry! 4. When first starting out I would say take what you can get, the sooner you fill up all your roles (x5 for the hunters, herbalist, scout, and minimum 1 pupsitter) the better, as this will make things easier for you. Once you get yourself established and comfortable, that's when I'd start being a bit more picky. 5. Stats for scouts varies depending on the biome they are exploring. The Grouse House has a guide on scouting here which may help you out. For Herbalists, you want to focus on Wisdom and Smarts. |
