A warning if you're about to loose your Melvin streak

A warning if you're about to loose your Melvin streak

I know a lot of different people have a lot of different opinions about Melvin Quests, and while I personally like them, that's not what I want to discuss here.

Disclaimer: I searched on the Game Development Forum for the keyword "Melvin", but couldn't find anything similar to my idea. In case I've overseen something and this has already been suggested, I'm sorry.

Alright, onto the idea now!
Like I said, I do like Melvin Quests. Yes, there are some issues - for example when he wants you to train apprentices in two quests and you only have one.
But one of my biggest problems I personally have is that I literally forget that he exists sometimes.
So my suggestion is to make it an optional feature (that you can turn on or off on your profile page in the settings) that warns you if you're about to loose your Melvin Streak.

So how would this work?
You could go to your profile page and scroll down to the settings. There, you could turn this feature on or off. If you've turned it on, you will be able to adjust it. You could set a WDT when to warn you (which you can freely choose depending on when you know you're usually online because of time differences, private stuff, etc.), and a streak number that decides if the feature is currently activated.
Let me explain:
If you have turned the minimum streak number to 3 and you only have a 2 days Melvin streak, the warning won't show up. However, if you have set it to 3 and you have a 3 day streak, it will show up.

The warning:
Since I think it would be annoying to have your inbox full of warning notifications, it could be a really quick notification like the ones you get when one of your scouts or a whole hunting party has full energy. For the warning, it could say something like this:
Don't forget to do your Melvin Quests, or you'll loose your streak!

Thanks for reading, and let me hear your thoughts and also questions & suggestions if some come to your mind
