However considering that some places don't have things like national mammals or even overlap with others, I think it should be done in a way that avoids any overlapping or improvising. Maybe each location can get one or two, if there's enough, national living thing decors. You could go down the list starting at mammal, bird, whatever and if there's a double up, you could skip that category for an area, or use a second animal if there is a second or it has big cultural significance. That would help make it more unique and interesting while avoiding making the same decor twice as well as keeping it in line with the location specific backgrounds.
