Hanwi Pup Adoptions



The Hanwi pack has encountered a puppy-boom of sorts. There's quite the surplus of little mouths to feed, while Chatan, the previous pack leader, would have just 'made do' (even to the detriment of the overall health of the pack), Kohana would rather send off these little ones to loving homes.

After a rather relaxing journey across picturesque terrain and pleasant weather, you break through a line of tall brush into a large clearing. A large male is standing in the middle, looking a touch standoffish, though his intimidation factor is limited by the group of rambunctious pups climbing all over him. He gives a heaving sigh after a particularly pushy pup headbutts him in the chest, he looks over to you with weary eyes.

"Please tell me you're here to adopt one of these," He pauses trying to find the right word, "little angels." 

You tilt your head a bit, trying not to burst out laughing when one of the pups takes to mocking the alpha, standing off to the side,  mimicking his stance with a goofy look on its face. The wolf shoots a glare at the little one, huffing a little before turning back to address you.

"Everyone here is looking for a new pack to call home. All I ask is that you adopt them with the intention of keeping them in your pack. I'd hate to see them bounced around from pack to pack, or worse sold off to the highest bidder. If you find one you like just let me know, I'll let them say their goodbyes and send them off with you. I'm Kohana by the way." He offers that last bit as an afterthought, his lips tweaking up in a hint of a smile as he leaves you to greet the group of youngsters. 





Rules:





  • 1. One wolf per pack. There is a 30 day cooldown before you can adopt another one.

  • 2. Please only adopt if you intend to keep them.

  • 3. The 'interactions' are just a flavor texts, there is no 'right' answer for adopting. :) Just tell me which one you'd like and I'll send them over!





"If a pup has a "*" next to their name they can be sex changed at your request for free!"

Lupin Piebald Uneven Male



The gangly limbed teen is practicing his stalking around the clearing parameter, albeit a bit awkwardly as he keeps stumbling over his legs every so often..





Tuff Piebald Frontal Female



This young lass is making polite conversation with an older wolf, nodding occasionally.





Nocturne Patches Split Female



You spy a spry little pup stomping around barking orders to her siblings and fellow packpups.





Diopside Patches Split Female



You stare at this pup in shock as she lets out a stream of profanities, some of which you've never heard before...






Gold Piebald Biewer Male



How odd, you do a double take, it was your impression that this was an adoption event for pups and adols...this is a full grown wolf...

"Late bloomer." His deep voice startles you and you stutter out a greeting.

For Limedevils:

You match her energy, taking a step forward and lowering your head so you can look her in the eye.

"Do you want me to adopt you?" You shoot back at her, eyebrows raised in a slight challenge. You can tell she is taken aback by the question. Her ears twitch in annoyance and her nose scrunches up as she thinks over how to respond. You shrug and turn to leave, humming a little tune to prove just how nonchalant you are about it all.

"Wait!" She calls after you and you halt, hovering a paw in the air for extra effect.

"Hmm? Made up your mind have you?"

"Are you always this sassy?" She asks with a sigh, trotting after you as you wave goodbye to Kohana and head back towards home with a new little tyke in tow.

"Now that is impressive. No one in my pack is savvy enough to whip my little ones into shape." The praise makes her practically preen, she puffs out her chest and smiles wide.

"My mom always said I'd make a great pup sitter." Despite her sure toe, her eyes hold a bit of unease as they meet yours, softening you even more.

"Well, I could use a top-notch pup wrangler like you in my pack. If you'd like to join us?"

"Really?!" Her eyes light up as she gingerly steps over a couple of sleeping pups to properly greet you, "I'd love to!"

Impressed by the level of concentration on the pup's face you decide to lend a paw.

"Ya know, I prefer an alternating layer of fur tufts between leaf bundles."

"No no no, that's fine for bedtime but far too comfortable for napping. A layer of leaves, then twigs, then two layers of fur tufts is my go-to for naps...but these twigs are way too big." He huffs, defeated.

"My my you are quite the nap connoisseur. Why don't we try leaves, then dried feathers, then another layer of leaves?" You can't help the smile that flickers across your face as the pup leaps up excitedly.

"Eureka! That's genius! Thanks a ton!" He sets to work setting up the napping nest.

"Anytime. My pack would love your expertise in arranging bedding, would you like to join? Teach them the ways of your sleep science?" You tilt your head in amusement.

"Heck yeah!" He beams at you, "After my nap of course."
