Cosmos snickered. "Haunting it is", he sneered, whipping his tail through the air.  Cosmos flicked his ears and his eyes brightened at the sight of more clan cats. "Oh dear miss leader, it's a party!", he laughed. He listened to Shadeheart do his spiel to Smokey. 'oh please', he thought to himself. Just then, Cosmos stood. "Now, if the lot of you don't mind, or if you do, I think I'll be on my way. Fare riddance happy clan.", Cosmos announced before flicking his ears and turning around, opposite of where the clan cats were. He passed a few other rogues on his way, then hopped in a tree, out of sight.

Risks? The silver tabby shuffled her dainty paws nervously at the thought of what these "risks" could entail. She hoped that StarClan wasn't warning them that the water would dry up- her particular duties relied heavily on a good rainfall and consistent water supply. If the plants did not receive any rain, they could not grow. Without herbs, RainClan would be vulnerable. 

She was only an herbalist in training- it wasn't her place to make assumptions about the ominous words of the strange star-pelted ancestor. Pebblepaw nodded obediently, despite not feeling particularly hungry, and decided to make her way to the fresh kill pile. She could overhear Halfpaw making conversation with Pebblepaw's mentor. Clearly, the warrior apprentice had detected Skyeyes' apprehension as well. The patched she-cat made no comment, and remained by the fresh kill pile, blankly staring down at a mouse. 

She had no interest in eating, since the warning from the StarClan cat, but she decided that her mentor likely wanted a few moments to himself, so that he could gather his thoughts. It'll be ok, the small feline tried to comfort herself, ...StarClan would never let anything bad happen to the clan. That's why they sent us a warning.

Good. Maybe this cat was young and inexperienced on the topic of clans, but she definitely had a head on her shoulders if she was intelligent enough to avoid whatever twolegs might have to offer. He assumed that was what she was talking about, anyways- these "nofurs". He'd heard them referred to as such by a small handful of cats on his travels. "It's no guarantee that they'll accept you- I don't want to get your hopes up and cause you nothing but disappointment." Murtagh added hastily in a quiet voice. She did make a good point, however. He didn't imagine that RainClan would amount to much, considering that he was against having a single individual boss him around. But surely together, cats could accomplish great things. "I don't think RainClan's opened their borders in moons, but that doesn't mean we can't get in a good word about you and hope for the best."

He gave her a calm blink of his ocean-blue visionaries before he scaled down the tree further, placing a paw firmly on each branch as he made his way down. Murtagh landed on the ground carefully before glancing up at the dark-furred loner. "First things first about those clan cats- they're materialistic. They're obsessive with their borders. Cross their imaginary lines, and you're hopes of joining RainClan are dashed."

Seeptail | She-Cat | Warrior | 35 Moons | Location: Forest clearing | Mentions [Direct]: Sootpaw, Hopestar, Shadeheart | Mentions: [Indirect] The rogues, The Patrol!

"Actually Sootpaw, hold that thought" Seeptail's ears twitched. Something wasn't right. She glared at Sootpaw, silently saying 'stay here in camp' before she bounded off towards the forest. Seeptail dodged trees left and right before skidding to a stop behind Shadeheart. "Oopsies! Sorry, Shadeheart, but uh, what's going on here?", she lowered her voice to a whisper, "You know there's, like, 5 rogues in the treeline, right?" Seeptail flicked her ears back and forth, listening for the soft breaths of other cats. She was almost infamous in the clan for her pin-point hearing and keen senses. She turned back to Shadeheart and also Hopestar, "I know their locations. What are we doing about this situation? I left Sootpaw at camp, by the way., her voice was steady and stern. Her mind already had a billion battle plans, escape plans, and more flurrying. 

// @Xena, do you think Dusk could run into Cosmos (or vise versa) if he gets away successfully? I've been holding off on him for a bit because of all the commotion about rogues and clan cats in one specified area and I don't want to intrude on that right now so... your thoughts? :) //

Sootpaw {} Apprentice {} Tags: Seeptail

The tiny tom's body shook with excitement, his golden eyes large and brimming with delight as he looked up at his mentor. " I am!" He squealed, his tiny paws kneading the soft earth underfoot. This would be Sootpaw's first hunting patrol, and he wanted to prove that he could help provide for his clan. " Im gonna do my best Seeptail, I wanna make you proud!" His whiskers quivering, and his chest fur was fluffed out with confidence. The young tom was so caught up in his own thoughts, that he hadn't realized that his mentor had raced off. The gray apprentice stood their for a few heartbeats before following after his mentors scent. Besides, if she raced off in such a hurry, surely it was because there was something serious no? ' If i follow after her maybe I can help!' 

Shadeheart || Warrior || Tag: Patrol, Rogues, Maplefur, Seeptail

Shadeheart turned his head to look towards the rogue that had been rowdy in the first place announcing his departure before jumping up into a tree, a soft growl escaping him as he did want to go after him but even so that would befall a disadvantage in terms of perhaps dealing with the rest of the rogues here. Besides, he would rely on Hopestar's decision on whether to go after him and bring him back or chase him out. Though his attention moved towards Seeptail after a few moments. He scanned his eyes over the remaining rogues for a moment to ensure they were still where they were at before he flicked his tail. "It seems the rogues sought us out. That one there," he paused to gesture with his tail towards the charcoal tom (Smokey) "wants to try and join us. The one that just left... I've no real idea with him but we'll need to keep a sharper eye in the area for him to ensure the borders are safe."

He paused as he flicked his tail and scanned his teal eyes back over to the remaining rogues once more, still wanting to make sure they wouldn't make any wrong moves. However, her words on there being more in the treeline was not good. He flexed his claws before he turned his gaze back towards Seeptail once more, giving her a small nod in terms of her knowledge of their location. "It's good that you know where they are at, as for these... These ones here are up to Hopestar to decide on what to do with."

Hopestar || Leader || Tag: the Patrol, the Rogues, Maplefur, Seeptail

Hopestar swayed a little on her paws. She was all too aware that the rogues now outnumbered her patrol and it made her uneasy. This isn't good... She thought to herself. Hopestar was grateful to Shadeheart for speaking up where words failed her in that moment, but she need to take charge and fast. "Shadeheart, do not let that rogue, Cosmos leave." Hopestar ordered, her eyes narrowing at the slippery tom. She was grateful for the sudden appearance of Maplefur, Seeptail, and Sootpaw. Now, their numbers were more or less even.

"Sootpaw," Hopestar beckoned the apprentice near. She whispered to him so that only he could hear. "I have an important mission for you: I need you to hurry back to the camp and find as many of our warriors and apprentices as you can. We'll start in the direction of the camp, but I need backup."

Smokey || Rogue || Tag: Patrol, Loners

Smokey sat with his tail curled around his front paws. Cosmos' warning went in one ear and out the next. This group was becoming larger by the moment, with both more loners and clan cats. Their names were so peculiar and it peaked his interest. He wanted desperately to know more about the clan cats. Although, the increasing number of loners made him wary. At least with the clan cats he knew what to expect of them. His eyes fell on the newest arrival: a black she-cat. "Hello, I'm Smokey," He mewed to her.

Moon - rogue - Tags: Shadeheart

Moon watched the annoying tom leave, then turned to look at the black cat that spoke to her. “Oh! Um, thanks.. and I know... I’ve just been on my own for a while and it gets to be a bit lonely. I tend to act rather than think...” She muttered the last part.

Maplefur - Elder - Tags - Patrol, rogues

”I know I’m an Elder now, but I still remember a few moves, so if needed, I can help.” Maplefur meowed to the patrol. His eyes scanned the unfamiliar cats with distaste and growled softly as one of them left. Good riddance.
