Pebblepaw (F) | Med Cat App | Location: RainClan territory| Mentions: Hopestar, clan, rogues Finally feeling relatively safe and well-balanced, Pebblepaw gawked at the sky as the sun climbed higher and higher. It wasn't long into her observation when she heard Hopestar's voice resonate below the tree's long branches. The silver tabby glanced down and perked her ears in keen interest. Had the clan decided on welcoming in the outsiders? Would they only let in so many? Would Pebblepaw get to have more friends her own age? She bit her lip, and forced herself to listen from up above. Mostly because she didn't remember how to get down. ---- Murtagh (M) | Rogue | Location: Forest | Mentions: Raven, Feather [indirectly], Silver [indirectly] The tom had been hunting for some time, and as he stalked the forest's edge, he heard a snap in the distance. It was a strange noise on his ears- not the typical breaking of a twig, more like the destruction of twoleg material. Must be a kittypet or two. The silvered tom thought to himself while wrinkling his nose in disgust before he carried on. As he snaked through the forest, he could hear the faintest sound of clucking before a flicker of movement caught his eyes. It was a mother pheasant with her chicks. He considered taking down the massive bird, for it'd be an impressive kill, but reminded himself that it'd be foolish alone. Big bird, even bigger talons. Murtagh redirected his attention to the large chicks, which would soon be leaving their mother. They were nearly fully grown- it wouldn't be long before they left the company of their mother. Nonetheless, it'd be easier to take one of them down, rather than the full-sized mother bird. Murtagh kept himself still, hidden among the bracken as he watched the pheasant chicks poke around. When one of the large ones strayed from its mother to investigate the bracken that kept the tom hidden, he lunged forward and got the bird by the neck. Its cry of alarm was cut short by the pressure on its long neck, but its mother came running nonetheless. Murtagh ducked away, although he still felt the angry hen's talons rip against his shoulder fur. So he did his best to haul the young pheasant into a tree like a leopard, out of reach from its mother. There, he held on until the bird was lifeless. |

Honey {} Rouge {} Tags: Feather, Silver Honey's jaw held a large rabbit, it seemed like it was just about as big as she was. Her stomach grumbled, but it was quickly over powered by a jingling bell. Curiosity getting the better of her, she followed after the noise. POking her head through a bush, scanning around a small clearing before resting her soft gaze on the two she-cats. " Uh, hello!" She mewed, her voice muffled slightly from the rabbit. |

Icestorm ~~ Warrior ~~ Tags: Hopestar, Shadeheart, Kestrelheart, Skyeyes ~~ Mentions: Rogues Reaching the hollow didn't take long and soon they were facing the small group of rogues there were there. He took a moment to observe who was here, taking in the scents to see if he recognized any that he had passed whenever he was out on patrol or hunting. He often kept track of which rogues were lingering around the territory, never approaching but just tagging familiar scents and counting how long they were around. Glancing at Hopestar, Skyeyes, and his fellow warriors standing before the rogues he actually moved to a slightly different spot, just a bit farther from the group but not enough to not be seen as a part of the other four. Once he found his spot he promptly laid down, getting himself comfortable to watch the rogues, but to also watch his clanmates. He remembered his conversation with Hopestar, and he wanted to watch both sides to make sure neither incited any aggression. They'd be making history for Rainclan yes, but they'd also be treading uncertain waters, so he wanted to observe for now and listen. |

.::Skyeyes::. Mentions: patrol, rogues, Pebblepaw Blinking warmly in thanks, the pale tom fell into step beside his fellow clanmates. He couldn't help but watch Shadeheart's and Kestrelheart's gates, relieved that they seemed to be handling their injuries well. His own limbs still felt the strain of the previous day's exertions, but stretching out his muscles was soothing. He let his eyes wander during the short journey, taking in the pale light and the tittering birds in the trees. He didn't mind the cool, dark, quiet cavern they called home, but the forest offered far more stimulation of the senses. They stopped short as they arrived in the hollow, Hopestar announcing their arrival. He dipped his head silently in greeting. He raised his head and surveyed the gathered cats. The familiar little tabby pelt of his apprentice was nowhere to be seen. Skyeyes felt a lightning strike of paranoia hit him. I didn't scent anything fresh of her leaving the hollow. Where is she? -==Raven==- Mentions: Murtagh, (indirect) Honey, Silver, Feather Raven continued through the forest, backtracking. The sound of other feminine feline voices caught her attention, but she veered sharply away from them. After closely witnessing the events of the previous day, she was quite weary of strange cats. Particularly more than one, with tones that indicated to her that they were hardly familiar with one another. Opting to take the longer route, the black cat loped casually across the forest floor. She wanted to conserve her energy. She wasn't all too familiar with the territory, and carrying a large dead bird in her jaws, she was a perfect target for other predators. The fox who abandoned the den might not have moved far. Not to mention dogs. She knew from the smells the nofur dogs carried, the nofurs took them everywhere. She shuttered at the thought. The closest she'd ever come to losing her life was when she was cornered in an alley by a desperate, snarling dog. While she couldn't exactly be cornered in the forest, there were few places to easily hide. Having been lost in her thoughts, she was surprised to arrive at the mouth of the fox den. |

Pebblepaw (F) | Med Cat App | Location: RainClan territory| Mentions: Skyeyes, clan, rogues The apprentice kept her balance on the branch up above, trying to calculate a safe route back down the tree (without falling down, of course). She brightened when she noticed the familiar cream coat of Skyeyes among the clan cats that had entered the hollow, and amused herself with how he looked smaller now. Like a little creamsicle ant. Pebblepaw began her attempt to scale down the tree, but paused before doing so. Maybe going down head-first wasn't a great idea. She pulled her weight back onto the branch to maintain her balance, feeling her stomach twist in knots. This didn't look so hard from back down on the ground. Pebblepaw was regretting her mistakes at this rate, despite how lovely the sunrise had been. "...I'm up here, mister Skyeyes!" She couldn't resist eking out a nervous squeak from up above. ---- Murtagh (M) | Rogue | Location: Forest | Mentions: Raven, Feather [indirectly], Silver [indirectly], Honey [indirectly] As the lynx point continued to choke the life out of the young pheasant, he patiently waited in the tree for the screeching mother pheasant to eventually give up and move on with her remaining young. Murtagh sat in silence as his own catch grew limp, before perking his ears in interest. The cats he detected earlier were barely visible from the treeline, and he deemed them to be no threat- especially the kittypet. Maximus would have never taken kittypets into his gang. He allowed himself to relax at that notion before leaping from the tree once the coast was clear, pheasant still dangling in his jaws. He'd been gone for some time- he needed to get back to Raven, so that his company didn't think that he'd abandoned her. Besides, it wouldn't be long before patrols were out and about, and they couldn't go missing one. The platinum-coated feline allowed his paws to lead him back to the fox den, where he spotted a familiar jet coat. Here he was: showing back up with another minor injury. He was making himself look like a buffoon. "Took quite a few failures this time, but I finally managed to catch something," Murtagh mumbled through a mouthful of feathers. |

Moon - Rogue - Tags: Smokey - Mentions: Hopestar, Shadeheart, Icestorm, Skyeyes, Pebblepaw, Kestrelheart Moon was having nice dream about chasing rabbits on the farm when she felt a soft prodding. She reluctantly opened her eyes and was met with the sight of Smokey, one of her new friends. He said something about Hopestar returning with news and she immediately perked up. "Do you know what kind of news? Oh, that was a dumb question, It's probably about what they've decided to do with us." She sat up and briefly shook her fur free of any lingering twigs and moss. She spotted Hopestar and Shadeheart, and the injured she-cat from yesterday but the two other felines were unfamiliar to her. Her ears lowered against her head nervously. She looked up at the trees when her only other friend, Pebblepaw, shouted to one of the clan cats. |
