Rabbitfoot gasped. "Beetlesight, I know I am too close to you." He closed his eyes. "I'm sorry, I have been a terrible mate, I'm sorry." He opened his eyes and nuzzles her. "No hard feelings, each of us could find someone else." He stepped back and turned walking away.

Dusk finished up with the squirrel. She didn't eat them often, saving them for other cats, but she was starving. She licked the blood off of her maw. A soft breeze wafted through the camp, ruffling her fur.

"I hope you find someone, RabbitFoot, you deserve someone." She mewed, a bit happier. Turning around and heading back to camp she felt like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders.

Ermine She/Her - Loner (currently not in territory, however slightly outside of it in a large field sharing borders.)

She purred, carrying a limp mouse in her mouth as she found a decent spot to eat. Her long, silky and spotted fur barely avoided dragging against the ground. She wished it wasn't turning spring, she loved the snow. The cold was perfect for her, everything about it. Her fur was the perfect color to blend in with the dead plants and ice, and in the summer she had to dig to prevent overheating.

Rabbitfoot sat as what he just heard slowly sink in. He then stood and walked into camp, his tail dropped to the ground and he walked to the isolated side of the clearing. He laid down and his heart felt broken twice.

Duskstep lounged around the camp, laying down and letting the sun warm her pelt. She closed her eyes, unaware of Rabbitfoot. "Mmmmm" A slight purr escaped from her mouth. The sun was warm and relaxing on her back.

Neptune's whiskers twitched as he watched Duskstep, but he quickly reminded himself she was a higher rank than him. He might as well go out for a hunt soon, or sometime today. 		Neptune_frost

She quickly ran up to BeetleSight, talking to her since she saw RabbitFoot come back glum. "Oh my dark forest, you actually did it? Beetle-" she mewed, both worried for Rabbits mental health but also proud of her friend for getting out of that relationship.

Rabbitfoot closed his eyes,  and curled up. He knew he could've done better, and he knew that he couldn't change the past. He wrapped his tail over his eyes and pretended to sleep only his ears twitching gave it away.
